Four County RV fireworks show has been postponed until July 5th due to some unforeseen circumstances! They look forward to seeing you all on Saturday July 5th! Gates open at 6 fireworks at 9!

The Mayor and City Council of Danville would like to send our sincere condolences to the family of Mayor Charles Brack of Allentown who died suddenly on Saturday, November 2, 2024. He will be greatly missed, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family, loved ones, and community during this time.

If anyone is having a discoloration of their water, turn on your outside water and let it run until it clears up. The discoloration is coming from a line repair done yesterday at 4th and Railroad Street. If you have any questions, please call Mayor Jackson at 478-952-6058 or the City Hall at 478-962-3290! UPDATE ON THE TANK MAINTENANCE:

As you all have seen over the past two weeks, the fire hydrants in Danville are running. As stated before, this is due to maintenance on the water tank. It has been sandblasted and is curing. Hydrants should be running for another week. The Mayor and City Council are aware. The day we started, this information was posted. The post was removed and it was just brought to our attention that it was no longer there.

‼️‼️ IF YOU LIVE ON/NEAR WILLIAMS ROAD AND YOUR WATER IS OFF, WE HAVE THE MAN ON THE WAY TO FIX IT AND HOPEFULLY WATER WILL BE RESTORED SOON! An 18 wheeler ran over the line and busted it ‼️‼️

The City of Danville would like to express sincere condolences to the family, blood and blue, of Sheriff Robert Rodgers!

To know Robert was to love him! He was truly an amazing person and had the biggest heart! He dedicated many years to serving and protecting and will truly be missed! Please keep his family, friends, loved ones, and his community in your prayers as they mourn the loss of this amazing man!

With broken hearts, we will be flying our flags at half mast in honor of him and his service!
