From Mrs. Fogle: “As the HOSA advisor I am so thankful for the staff and other students who are helping to check on our officers and members. I am even prouder seeing members check in on other students, showing their compassion and caring for others. In the sadness, seeing love in its purest form is comforting. Prayers for all of Boyle district. Brynn was so very special and was a blessing to us. May we continue to honor her by serving and loving as she did.

Also, if any member needs or knows of another student needing resources or support through the coming days, please reach out to me. You do not have to handle this alone. There are many resources that BCHS has available to offer. Brynn would want you to continue taking care of yourselves, and take care of each other.”

Brynn Addison Bentley, 16, of Hustonville went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 22, 2026. She was born in Danville, Kentucky on April 13, 2010, to Bolin Allen Bentley and Diana Louise Bierley Bentley of Hustonville. Brynn was a member of Southland Christian Church where she was involved

As we prepared to celebrate graduates, all of the certifications, installing new officers at the HOSA banquet, our organization is deeply saddened and broken hearted over the loss of one of our own. Our Sweet Brynn, our HOSA Treasurer, a HOSA leader, member, friend, classmate, student has passed. Please say prayers for the BCHS HOSA Officer Team as this group is so very close. Say prayers for our members who have lost a leader. Say prayers for her family, friends, teachers, and everyone whose life she has touched. We are broken, we will surely miss her sweet smile, her calm demeanor, her compassion, and her work ethic to help make our events so special. We don’t seem to have the right words except for, “Thank you Brynn for all of your contributions. You will forever be in our hearts. We love you.” 🤍

🎉Proud to announce: Once again BCHS/BCTC Nurse Aide Students… proved “Excellence in Everything!”

💯% pass rate on the Kentucky Board of Nursing-State Registered Nurse Aide Exam. All 5 students passed and are now Certified! College/career ready! Mrs. Fogle asked at the testing center and they too, have never seen another all male group! Not only did the “BCHS all male group” go, but they maintained the 100% pass rate for all eligible students being certified every semester for the last 4 years! Way to keep the legacy going guys, while making history! HOSA is so proud of you! Go celebrate! 🎉 🖤💛

‼️🚨Boyle County Students/Parents: If you know any of these Ky State Registered Nurse aides… PLEASE remind them to renew their certification! There was another group of MNA’s in 2024, as well as several Certified Phlebotomy Techs! Keep those certifications up! You worked hard for them! No one can ever take them from you, except yourself! 2024 graduates it’s been 2 years, time to renew! 👏🖤💛 If you aren’t getting emails from either the Kentucky Board of Nursing, or NHA you may need to update your email address with them.

Our last HOSA meeting inside BCHS this year. For our seniors it was a sweet closure especially to some who had been a member all 4 years. We had elections and elected new officers! We made a budget for the banquet. Showed off our new HOSA official dress! A lot accomplished in a short meeting! Next meeting will be at the BCPAC where we will celebrate all things health science and HOSA, and install our new officers! Here are some photos from yesterday!
