Thank you Regional Youth Prevention Network!!

This week's coalition partner spotlight is DanversCARES!

DanversCARES is a dynamic community-based coalition focused on positive youth development. Through collaboration with community partners, the coalition strives to implement evidence-based prevention and educational programming in the community in the area of youth mental health, substance use and healthy decision-making. DanversCARES is a program of the Town of Danvers, managed by Danvers Public Schools.

The coalition works in close partnership with the Regional Youth Prevention Network to share prevention resources and best practices. In addition to the coalition, DanversCARES Youth Leadership Clubs are facilitated at middle and high school levels and available to any student who is interested in this mission! Youth meet regularly to get involved with community initiatives supporting student wellness. Check out their website to learn more: https://danverscares.org/

Please join us this Wednesday for Light the Night Purple 2025!

Light the Night Purple is an inclusive event that brings the community together to celebrate recovery, promote health and healing, challenge stigma and raise awareness about substance use prevention and treatment.

At 6:30pm we will gather at the Rotary Pavilion in downtown Danvers for resource tables, activities and games. At 7pm we will walk through town together in solidarity. We will return to the library gazebo by 7:30pm and enjoy a few songs and impactful speeches, and at 8pm we will light the night purple together. 🕯️

All are welcome to join us at the free event! Complimentary purple LTNP t-shirts will be given out while supplies last.

We look forward to gathering as a community đź’ś
