Last night, June 14, 2026, at a Cape Cod Baseball League game, the Bourne Braves honored the Korey family and the incredible work of the Ollie’s Angels Foundation.

MADD MA had the honor and privilege of joining many others in recognizing our friends, Robert and Alice Korey, whose mission continues to save lives through education and awareness.

After the tragic loss of their beautiful 20-year-old daughter, Elana “Ollie” Korey, who was killed while riding as a passenger with an impaired driver, Robert and Alice turned unimaginable grief into purpose by creating the Ollie’s Angels Foundation.

As part of their powerful “Catch a Safe Ride” campaign, Robert, accompanied by Ollie, the foundation’s beloved mascot, threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game. It was a touching reminder that every choice matters and that no family should have to endure the loss of a loved one due to impaired driving.

Thank you, Robert and Alice, for sharing Elena's story, honoring her memory, and making a difference in the lives of so many families. Your courage, compassion, and dedication continue to inspire all of us.

Today, MADD Massachusetts honored 32 law enforcement officers and state troopers for their excellence in road safety. The event was dedicated in honor of Trooper Kevin Trainor who just one year ago—was a MADD Award recipient at this very same event.

Thank you to our MC, Amie Joseph who is a longtime survivor volunteer, Christina Hayman of AAA Northeast, and Scott Yelle of the Jackson Yelle Foundation for their inspiring remarks today.

Thank you to our wonderful roadway heroes who save lives everyday by stopping impaired drivers. You are making a difference.

More photos to come.

Best friends don’t let best friends make dangerous decisions ☀️🐾

Whether your summer sidekick has two legs or four, the rule stays the same: look out for each other. Beach days, lake days, concerts, late nights - make a safe plan to get home before the fun starts.

Real friends make sure everyone gets home safe 💛

Yesterday, MADD Massachusetts was honored to advocate on behalf of Waymo and autonomous vehicles that would save lives on the roadways of Boston.

Waymo is laying the groundwork to bring its self-driving cars to Massachusetts.

Today, MADD MA represented our mission alongside Robert Korey and Ollie at Duxbury High School.

Ollie was Elana's college puppy and, after her passing, became the face of Ollies Angels, helping carry forward her legacy and message of safe choices.

As a Duxbury High School graduate, Elana's connection to the school made the visit meaningful. Robert shared her story with students, highlighting how one decision can impact families, friends, and communities.

It was an honor to once again represent MADD MA at Minnechaug Regional High School during our third visit this year. The school’s strong commitment to student safety is especially evident as students prepare for prom and graduation season.

More than 200 students participated in the Fatal Vision Goggle activity, and many signed a pledge to remain substance-free and make responsible decisions behind the wheel.

Thank you to the students, faculty, staff, and administrators for continuing to prioritize prevention, education, and student wellness. Together, we are making a meaningful impact and helping to save lives.
Thanks to our continued partnership with Mapfre Insurance, we are able to spread consistent and ongoing awareness to The Commonwealth.
If anyone is interested in this type of programming, please reach out to me directly. Our presentations and materials are provided at no cost to the schools or community.

We would like to thank Bellingham High School and Danielle Gemme for inviting MADD to present to their Junior and Senior students during their PE classes today. The students were engaged, thoughtful, and actively participated in our Fatal Vision goggle activity.

We appreciate the opportunity to have important conversations about impaired driving, safe choices, and looking out for one another as prom and graduation season approaches. Thank you for helping us continue MADD’s mission of keeping our roads and communities safe.
