Beginning October 1, 2026, Dante Rescue Squad will implement a Volunteer Stipend Program.

The purpose of this program is to support the dedicated volunteers who give their time, incur their own expenses, maintain their training, and answer the call when our community needs them.

This does not change who we are. Dante Rescue Squad will remain a volunteer organization, and we will continue providing emergency medical care and ambulance transportation at no cost to our patients.

Attached is a letter to our community explaining why we believe this step is important to the future of Dante Rescue Squad. We encourage our friends, neighbors, and supporters to take a few minutes to read it.

Thank you for supporting Dante Rescue Squad and the volunteers who serve our community.

Tara is continuing a family tradition of service as a third-generation EMS provider volunteering with Dante Rescue Squad. She is following in the footsteps of her grandmother, Norma, and her mom, Lori. By obtaining her EMT certification, Tara joins her brother and several other family members who have dedicated themselves to caring for others and serving their community. Congratulations, Tara, on carrying this proud family legacy forward!
