What an amazing day serving our community this past Sunday!

For our second Serve Day, we came together to assemble 50 care packages to distribute to individuals in need throughout our community. A huge thank you to everyone who donated items, helped assemble the packages, and gave their time to make this day possible!

We also had several groups head out into the community to serve through various outdoor projects. It was such a beautiful reminder of what can happen when we come together, serve one another, and put our faith into action.

We are so blessed by our FaithWay family and grateful for every person who gave their time, energy, and heart to serve. What a joy it is to serve alongside one another and do what God has called us to do!

This Sunday, August 30, FaithWay will be hosting our second Serve Day!
Instead of our regular worship service, we'll gather at 9:00 a.m. for a worship song and a short devotional from Pastor Sam before heading out to serve our community together.

For those who will be serving in our outdoor projects (or would like to serve and have not signed up, we still need volunteers!), we encourage you to wear the following as we will be working outside:
-Long pants
-Closed-toe shoes
-A hat (recommended)
-A long-sleeve shirt underneath the Service Day T-shirt ( Please wear the one you received on our last serve day, we will be handing them out to those who have signed up and not received one)
Please bring:
-A drink (we'll also have bottled water available at the church to grab before you head out)
-Gardening gloves
-Pruners, if you have them
-A trowel, if you have them
-Mosquito and tick repellent

Those of you who have signed up to assemble our blessing bags, we will be doing those right at the church. You can still bring in donations!

We're looking forward to serving alongside you and making a positive impact in our community!

As kids head back to school this week, we pray they have an amazing school year filled with new friendships, exciting learning experiences, and unforgettable memories!

UPDATED NEEDS BELOW-

We’re still collecting donations for the Blessing Bags we’ll be assembling this Sunday during our Community Serve Day! 💙

Our goal is to put together 50 bags for individuals in need in our community, and we’re still looking for the below items to help us reach that goal:

1 - toothpaste
4 - bars of soap
7 - lotion
16- shampoo
26 - conditioner

If you’re able to donate, every item makes a difference! Let’s come together as a church family to bless others and show the love of Christ to those in our community. Together, we can make a difference!

What if He’s inviting us to understand our role in a coming transformation, a shift that will bring everything into sharp FOCUS?
