Welcome September, we have lots of activities this month.
*There will be no business meeting in September.
*Bingo--Thurs, 10th @ 1pm.
*Our Annual Rummage Sale--Thurs, 17th (9-3), Fri, 18th (9-3), and 1/2 day Sat, 19th (9-12). We have lot of great items, come shopping and bring all your neighbors and friends to shop. We also, need members to sign-up and help with set-up on Wed, 16th as well as help during the sale days.
*If you still have items you would like to donate, please price them and bring to the center.
*Monday, Sept 21st, 1pm we will have a guest speaker on Finances.
*Penny Auction--Tues, 29th @ 10:30,
*Richard Hall Band will be at center on Friday, Sept 25th.
Come out and join us in any or all activities at the center or just drop by to sit and visit with us. Hope to see you at the center. 🙂

What a great turnout we had for our "85+ Birthday Party". Happy Birthday to all, and especially those youngsters that were 85+ in 2026. Thanks to everyone that came and made it a special day. We crowned a King (Joe Carr) and Queen (Gernie Speer) with having the most years of knowledge and wisdom.

Sorry I'm late getting the August calendar out. We look forward to seeing you at the center for our daily activities as well as Monday lunches. Some highlights this month are guest speakers coming on:
August 10th--Richard Hall on Long-Term Health Care & Annuities;
August 17th, Art Bohanan--Topic 911;
August 24th--Kate Franklin sponsoring Senior Safety Workshop.

Veteran's Brunch on August 14th at 9:30.

Big "85+" Birthday Party on August 20th @ 12 o'clock. We are celebrating all members that are the turning the young age of 85 or older in 2026. We want ALL members to come party with us to celebrate these youngsters (please sign-up so we know how many to plan for). We will be eating, playing games, and giving prizes, taking lots of pictures and lots of merry and glee. Jukebox Chazz & Bobbie will be providing the music. Chazz has asked if you have a favorite tune you want to hear or sing-a-long with to please let him know so he can have it available.

August 27th--Lunch Van Trip to Davy Crockett Tavern and August 28th--Richard Hall Band, singing Gospel Music this month. Hope to see you here at the Dandridge Senior Center in August!!!! 🙂🙂

Thank you, Flo Arnold for setting up the “Create a Card Project”. Flo chose a die cut/stamp set for us to use. We had to use our own imagination and creativity as how we wanted our card to look, by choosing paper: design/colors, inks, stamps, sentiments, die cuts, card size/orientation and layout of our card. Look at the cards we created; they turned out great. We had fun. Hope we can do it again.

We are having a fun June planned, we are having a Tea Party on June 3rd, a financial planner will be speaking at 1pm on June 8th, the countywide picnic at Jefferson City Senior Center, on June 12. Along with our other regular activities. One change from our normal calendar, our June Business Meeting has been canceled on June 5, but has been rescheduled for Monday, June 22, hope you can attend. We are planning a van trip on Thursday, June25, still working on the details, check back for updates. Hope to see you this month!!!🙂🙂
