WCSU Foundation The WCSU Foundation fuels Western CT State University's effort to change lives. The students here at Western are the major beneficiaries of your generosity.

A tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) organization by the IRS, the Foundation effectively raises funds and carefully manages charitable gifts for the support of the university. Western Connecticut State University is blessed with many friends who have supported the university and helped its students along their journeys toward finding the opportunities that higher education affords. These generous friends inclu

de alumni and many others — but a common thread binds them: they all believe in Western’s mission and know that our students graduate as smart, energetic and successful members of the community. The Foundation’s total scholarship endowment is about $28 million, as of June 2024. Your contribution is critical in helping us live up to our institutional mission of educational excellence for all those who seek it. But most importantly, your gift symbolizes your trust in the role that Western plays in educating the next generation of successful and productive citizens. To all of you who give so generously to Western to support our students, thank you. You honor us with your support.

Tomorrow’s the night. Join us for one final evening on the turf that’s been home to countless memories, victories, and friendships. This is your last chance to give Chuck a proper farewell before we welcome the Pack and begin a new era distinctly Western Connecticut State University.

Come by for food, photos, and one last toss across the field that built our legacy. Let’s celebrate the stories that made “Chuck” more than just a field — it’s part of who we are.

See you tomorrow at 5 p.m. — one team, one future.

On Saturday, May 9, Western Connecticut State University celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2026 during the Kathwari Honors Convocation alongside family, friends, faculty, and staff. 🎓

Mr. Farooq Kathwari, a valued member of the WCSU Foundation, shared inspiring words with graduates as they marked this important milestone.

The evening also recognized Dr. Brian Clements for his outstanding leadership and dedication as Director of the Kathwari Honors Program at WCSU over the past three years. Through his guidance, the program has grown tremendously and continues to create meaningful opportunities for students.

As Dr. Clements concludes his time as Director, we are excited to welcome Dr. Leslie Lindenauer, who will assume the role this summer and continue the program’s positive momentum.

Congratulations to all involved in this special celebration!
