After raising her three beautiful babies, Lime, Melon, and Papaya, it's finally Mama Xena's turn to find a family of her own! 🏡💕

Xena is a gorgeous 3-year-old brown tabby with a gentle soul and a special place in our hearts. ❤️ She and her kittens were our very first rescue as a New Hope Partner, after being surrendered to ACC of NYC through no fault of their own.

Since arriving in foster care, Xena has been a wonderful mama, giving her babies all the love and care they needed to thrive. Now, she's ready for her own happy ending! 🥹

She's quiet, sweet, and a little shy at first. She enjoys head rubs, gentle affection, and companionship on her own terms. She would love a calm, patient home with someone who understands that trust takes time. ❤️

We need everyone to keep their eyes peeled! Please help us find Raita and her newborn babies. We are assuming she gave birth and is laying low. PLEASE report any sightings.

🚨 Raita was LOST October 9, 2026 in Redding, CT 06896 near Umpawaug Rd, Peaceable St, Goodsell Hill Rd and Redding Rd.
Please spread the word for this lost cat by sharing this post.

💬 Owner's Message: "Raita, a pregnant rescue cat that was about to give birth has escaped her fosters hse. We are absolutely heartbroken for her and her babies that are about to be born. If anyone sees her please call ASAP (DO NOT CHASE). "

🚨🐾 URGENT: MISSING PREGNANT FOSTER CAT! PLEASE SHARE! 🐾🚨

We urgently need our community's help locating a heavily pregnant grey tabby foster cat who has gone missing in Redding, CT!

📍 LAST SEEN: Near the intersection of Umpawaug Road and Peaceable Street at Redding Road.

🐱 DESCRIPTION: Female domestic shorthair, grey tabby, visibly pregnant.

⚠️ TIME IS CRITICAL! This mama cat is very close to giving birth, and we are extremely concerned for her safety and the safety of her unborn kittens. She needs to be found and brought somewhere safe as soon as possible!

🙏 HOW YOU CAN HELP:

Keep an eye out around your property, under decks, sheds, garages, and other sheltered areas where she may be hiding or preparing to give birth.

If spotted, please do not chase her! Keep your distance and contact us immediately with her location.

Share this post with friends, family, and local community groups, especially those in Redding and surrounding towns.

🐾 FERAL FRIDAY: Meet Crybaby!

After a couple of years of being a colony mom, Crybaby's career in motherhood has finally come to an end!

Crybaby is a beautiful feral tuxedo cat who is part of a community cat colony we are currently helping to manage. She has a dedicated feeder and caretaker who is happy to look after her but wasn't quite sure how to get her the veterinary care she needed.

Thankfully, he reached out to us just in time!

As it turns out, Crybaby had given birth to three adorable kittens in a window well on the property! 🐱🐱🐱

Crybaby did a wonderful job caring for her babies, and while mama is a beautiful tuxedo, her three kittens all turned out to be uniquely beautiful!

🐾 Foxglove (female) – A gorgeous solid gray kitty!

🐾 Tansy (female) – A beautiful white kitten with adorable black splotches!

🐾 Snapdragon (male)– A stunning, long-haired, cream-colored lynx point kitten! A particularly unique little beauty!

Luckily, all three kittens were young enough to be socialized and welcomed into our adoption program, where they are now waiting for their forever homes! 🏡💕

While her kittens were ready for a new chapter indoors, Crybaby is feral and much happier in the outdoor home she's always known.

Through our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts, Crybaby was safely trapped, spayed, and returned to her colony, where she is doing well alongside her fellow kitties and the caretaker who continues to look after them.

🌟 But wait, there are more adoptable kitties from this same colony!

In addition to Crybaby's three babies, we also have three other handsome boys looking for their forever homes:

🐱 Bramble – An 8-month-old male gray and white tabby.

🐱 Acorn – A 5-month-old male brown tabby.

🐱 Pinecone – A 5-month-old gray and white tabby.

All three have been vaccinated, neutered, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV! ❤️

That means we have SIX wonderful kitties from this colony still searching for loving homes! 🏡🐾

He's also quite the conversationalist and loves to chat with his humans! One of his favorite hobbies? Chasing his own tail! 😂
