A special shout-out to Lowe’s and their incredible volunteer team! 💙

On October 6, the Lowe’s team joined us at CEE for a day of giving back and making a difference!

From donating care packages for our clients to painting, providing appliances, blinds, and much-needed materials, their generosity continues to go above and beyond.

Through their ongoing in-kind contributions of time, materials, and services, Lowe’s helps us create a more welcoming and supportive environment for the individuals and families we serve.

A Special Delivery for Our Special Partners! 🍪

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, CEE shared some sweet treats and heartfelt appreciation with our law enforcement partners!

A special thank you to the New Milford Police Department, Newtown Police Department, and WCSU Lieutenant Montefusco for their continued partnership and dedication to supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Domestic violence can affect anyone, including a friend, family member, coworker, neighbor, or someone in your community. You may know someone who is experiencing abuse, even if they haven’t spoken about it.

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we can all make a difference by listening without judgment, believing survivors, and sharing resources.

CEE provides a 24-hour hotline dedicated to domestic violence. Confidential support is available.

Last Thursday, our CEE staff proudly wore purple in recognition of Purple Thursday, a day dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence and showing solidarity with survivors.

Throughout Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we stand together to remind survivors that they are not alone and that support, compassion, and resources are available.
