Lacrosse Speed Hits the Track! 🥍💨

Our youth lacrosse athletes showed up and showed out at the Danbury Elementary Schools Track & Field meet! It was great to see their agility and speed translate from the turf to the track.

We are incredibly proud of how they competed and represented their schools and our program—you guys are fast! Keep up that intensity on and off the field. 🏆👟

This week our girls teams headed to Danbury High School to cheer for the Varsity during their Senior night game against New Milford!

This year we celebrate 2 outstanding athletes, Hannah and Shannon. They came through our program starting with us back in 4th grade, playing for Coach Christine!

In the Fall, Hannah is off to the US Naval Academy and Shannon is starting at SUNY Cortland! We have loved watching you play all these years and wish you both nothing but the best!

Big day yesterday at the Rooster Rumble! 🐓🥍 Our DYL Senior Girls showed up and showed out! The growth and improvement since the start of the season was on full display! Incredible teamwork, massive hustle, and tons of Danbury pride💙🧡 So proud of this squad! 💪🔥

Huge shoutout to some of our high school players who came back to where it all began for them. It was incredible watching these guys share their knowledge, drop some expert pointers, and give back to the exact same youth league they started in. 🟠🔵

The energy at our Little Laxers (K-4th) clinic is absolutely electric! ⚡️ We’re having the best time watching these beginners fall in love with the game of lacrosse.

From learning techniques on how to scoop, pass, and shoot some pretty impressive shots, these young athletes are putting in the work and having a blast.

The undisputed highlight? Hungry Hungry Hippos (of course) ! 🦛💨 Nothing beats a high-stakes stampede to get those ground ball skills sharp.

Don’t let your skills get rusty this off-season! Whether you’re a seasoned vet or curious about the sport of lacrosse, our Summer Pick-Up sessions are the perfect way to learn, stay sharp, get some cardio, and have a blast!

The Details:

Who: Boys (Grades 5–8) & Girls (Grades 5–12)
Where: Broadview Middle School Turf – (72 Hospital Ave)
When: Once a week | 1.5 hours | Early June – Mid-August
The Game Plan: Each session starts with high-rep fundamentals, footwork, and stickwork, followed by a scrimmage to build confidence and team chemistry! 🤝

No experience or equipment? No worries! Danbury residents we’ve got you covered!
