The smell of pine makes me think of Christmas. This poor pine got damaged in August. It was determined it needed to come down.

We installed the first of 150 new section markers. Eventually we will install them at every intersection in the cemetery.

Some of the damage from today’s storm. From what I was able to inspect, no stones were. damaged. I wasn’t able to get to the interiors of some of the larger sections. Advanced Tree Removal has been notified. Our landscaper is already here to drag some of the more larger branches out of the roads.

We got EXTREMELY lucky with the storm on Saturday. This was the only sizable branch that came down. No stones were damaged. Thanks to Advanced Tree Removal LLC, it's gone.

On Sunday, May 17, the Danbury Council of Veterans assisted by the Danbury Police cadets will be conducting their annual practice of placing flags on the graves of veterans. In the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be Sunday, May 24.

The office will have a number of flags in case any veteran's grave is missed.

Annual Spring cleanup has begun. ALL Christmas and winter decorations MUST be removed by March 24.

A couple of photos today. Drifting on Sections B and 23. The office at 10:00. Roads are open, but still some snowy spots. Be careful, please.

As of 10 AM, the roads in the cemetery were mostly passable. A couple of the smaller roads connecting parallel roads were not plowed and the road south of the pond was drifted over. Our contractor has been back at work already this morning.
