Ctlead The mission of LEAD is to expand educational options and opportunities in Connecticut.

To promote a more equitable society and to create a healthy, educated, and actively engaged community. Latinos for Education Advocacy and Diversity was formed by a group of parents to provide quality educational options, programs and services for children and families throughout Connecticut. LEAD will provide the community with educational programs, community support, educational equity, and diver

sity, and promote quality educational options. Decisions being made at the local and state level have a direct impact on our families, and we want to have a seat at the table and a voice in the policymaking process

LEAD is proud to be part of this amazing event with our own tent, connecting with residents, sharing opportunities, and welcoming new members. The energy, diversity, and community spirit on display today are exactly what make Danbury such a special place to live and grow.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, followed our page, became a member, and helped us spread the word about our mission. Every conversation and every new connection helps us continue empowering our community through education, advocacy, and opportunity.

LEAD was honored to partner with Faith Church for an incredible Menโ€™s Conference filled with inspiration, learning, and meaningful connections.

Throughout the day, men from different backgrounds came together to strengthen their leadership skills, grow personally and spiritually, and build stronger relationships within our community. What an unforgettable day at our International Childrenโ€™s Day Celebration in Bridgeport! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ

LEAD and DR LEAD were honored to bring together hundreds of families for a day filled with laughter, games, surprises, sweets, and unforgettable memories. Seeing the smiles on the faces of more than 300 children reminded us why our mission is so important.

At LEAD, we believe that every child deserves opportunities to learn, grow, dream, and feel valued. Events like this are more than just celebrations they are a reflection of our ongoing commitment to strengthening families, empowering communities, and creating spaces where children can thrive.

LEAD was honored to host the Statewide Kick-Off Meeting of the Connecticut Region of Higuayagua Taรญno of the Caribbean at our East Hartford center.

This special gathering brought together Taรญno descendants, families, elders, youth, community leaders, and allies from across Connecticut to celebrate culture, strengthen connections, and honor Indigenous Caribbean heritage. Throughout the event, participants learned about Taรญno history, traditions, and the different Taรญno regions represented throughout the Caribbean.

The gathering provided a meaningful space for cultural education, community building, storytelling, and preserving ancestral knowledge for future generations. We were proud to welcome more than 60 community members for this historic event and to support a community-led effort focused on identity, heritage, leadership, and unity.

At LEAD, we are committed to creating spaces where diverse communities can come together to learn, connect, and celebrate their cultures. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event a memorable and impactful experience.
