To promote a more equitable society and to create a healthy, educated, and actively engaged community. Latinos for Education Advocacy and Diversity was formed by a group of parents to provide quality educational options, programs and services for children and families throughout Connecticut. LEAD will provide the community with educational programs, community support, educational equity, and diver

sity, and promote quality educational options. Decisions being made at the local and state level have a direct impact on our families, and we want to have a seat at the table and a voice in the policymaking process

A VISION, A JOURNEY, A LEGACY.

Congratulations to Lucas Pimentel, Founder and CEO of LEAD, on being recognized as a Dominicano de Excelencia and receiving an Official Citation from the Connecticut General Assembly. A powerful recognition of a journey built on leadership, perseverance, and service to community.

What began as a vision has become a movement impacting thousands across Connecticut. The journey continues, the vision grows, and the legacy is still being built.

What an amazing event! Thank you to our partners at PRU - Puerto Rican Festival of New Haven for hosting an incredible Puerto Rican Parade in New Haven, bringing together more than 20,000 people to celebrate Puerto Rican culture, heritage, and pride.

LEAD was proud to serve as the presenting sponsor of this incredible celebration. ¡Que viva Puerto Rico!

We were equally excited to officially launch Taino Colab Academy New Haven a new charter high school that will honor our Taíno roots and cultural identity while preparing the next generation of students to lead and thrive in the coming AI revolution.

Amazing day celebrating Dominican and Taíno culture in Bridgeport, Connecticut! We hit 20,000 people and made history!

LEAD was proud to host our Second Annual Dominican Parade of Connecticut, bringing our community together to celebrate our culture, heritage, and pride.

What an incredible day for our Dominican and Taíno communities and for the entire city of Bridgeport!
