Roxy Therapy Dogs Comforting children through the use of certified therapy dogs. An all-volunteer, donation-dependent 501(c)3 nonprofit.

Services are free to individuals and organizations. Founded in 2005, Roxy™ Therapy Dogs is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our five programs provide an irreplaceable and dependable support system for children in the Central Bucks County, Pennsylvania community. Our trained and certified therapy dogs deliver self-esteem, relief from anxiety and fear, and a sense of well-being. To

a child who feels safe and relaxed, learning is accessible, and both physical and emotional healing are accelerated. We are 100% dependent on donations from the community. Your tax-deductible donation will help us reach every child in our community who needs the comfort and support of a Roxy™ therapy dog. Elementary School Reading Inspiration
This is the Roxy flagship program where over 3,000 Central Bucks School District elementary students per week benefit from Roxy therapy team visits to help them become stronger readers. Where: All 15 CBSD elementary schools

Student Specialized Support
In classes where reading is not the focus, our certified pet therapy teams provide comfort and support for children with special educational and developmental needs. These classes include Autistic Support, Multiple Disability Support, and Life Skills. Where: All 15 CBSD elementary schools, Unami Middle School, CB East and West High School. Secondary School Stress Relief
Students suffering from the loss of a parent or struggling with stress and anxiety benefit from the much-needed support and compassion provided by Roxy therapy team dogs. Where: All CBSD high schools

Courthouse Companionship
Imagine the fear of a child in the judicial system disappearing thanks to a loving visit from a Roxy therapy dog. Where: Bucks County Justice Center

Pediatric Comfort
Picture the joy a Roxy therapy dog brings to children in hospital and healthcare settings to help relieve stress, break up their day, and speed the healing process. Where: Doylestown Health Pediatric Unit and Pedia Manor

The wait is over! Come join Sen. Steve Santarsiero and me TOMORROW, Thursday, May 14 from 3pm to 5pm at the new Doylestown Community Recreation Center at 425 Wells Road in Doylestown for our 3rd annual Disability Resource Fair.

This very special event is designed to assist families and caregivers discover and get connected to critical services from federal, state and community vendors.

Roxy Therapy Dogs will be bringing their adorable furry friends, GIANT Food Stores will be providing FREE vaccines, and PA CareerLink Bucks County Workforce on Wheels will be on-site to assist career seekers with job searches, revising and printing resumes, and more!
