Thoughts? The six-month trial was approved this week in San Clemente, that will allow our four legged friends onto the beach just south of T-Street. Dog owners can walk the sand between 6 and 8am then again after 6pm on Monday through Thursday. Only between 6 and 8am on Friday and no weekends. Leashes are required at all times. What are your thoughts?

Sincerely want to say thank you for all the love and support of everyone in the South OC and beyond. South OC Magazine is alive and well, and its because of your support. There is so much good that can come from pages like this and I promise we will do just that. Highlight local, support local, and contribute local. A tsunami advisory has been issued for the entire California coast, including Southern California and Orange County, following a massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake off Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula. If you are located in this coastal area, move off the beach and out of harbors and marinas. Tsunami advisories mean that a tsunami capable of producing strong currents or waves dangerous to persons in or very near the water is expected or is already occurring. Areas in the advisory should not expect widespread inundation. Tsunamis are a series of waves dangerous many hours after initial arrival time.
