I was about to pack it up and call it a day, when I realized that I hadn’t tried any of my spinners with chartreuse, and there was still one spot I hadn’t made a cast from. Maybe it was the color, maybe it was approaching from a new angle, or maybe the fish had enough of my BS, but that last cast almost didn’t happen.

So many missed bites and a bunch of small fish released, but overall, I can’t complain. Turned out be be a pretty decent day of surf fishing.
