Whether you’re a pro kayaker or someone who just wants to party on the shore for a good cause, we’ve got a spot in the boat for you.

There are lots of ways to partner, and we’re here for exploring those ideas and benefits with you curious business leaders out there. … Let’s carry it together!!!

Our planning partners don’t let a little baggage get in the way of orchestrating a river-going hootenanny. This event has multiple layers. Like a bloomin’ onion.

For five years now, they’ve rallied their businesses behind our mission to pull off this epic charitable adventure. The logistics and coordination for getting 200 paddlers safely up the river, some with questionable vessels. 😉 The oysters, beverages, and live music that fuels the after party. The vibe that they’ve stayed true to.

Thoughtfully designed youth programs start with one simple thing: trust.

Before the hiking, exploring, and outdoor adventures even begin, we intentionally build a group culture that’s prosocial, supportive, and safe. Through games, shared challenges, and a little bit of laughter, young people learn how to encourage one another, work as a team, and feel confident being themselves.

This approach shows up across all of our programs—from Bristol Consolidated School 4th graders visiting our campus grounds in Bremen to our after-school, on-site Outing Club at Boothbay Region Elementary School.

When young people feel safe and supported, amazing things happen: they take healthy risks, cheer each other on, and grow stronger together.🌱

We have two volunteer opportunities for community members to pitch in on our mission of connecting local young people to trusted adult mentors and the great outdoors.

Perhaps you could lend a few hours every now and then on our campus grounds helping with manual labor? Or you might prefer the in-town option of supporting our programming team with administrative tasks. Maybe it’s both!

“Hearty Chutes” was at it again this year at the Toboggan Championships. It’s a thrill, the build up of anticipation. A rush. To be free falling with four intertwined and suspiciously trusting humans. It’s good old fashioned fun with a pinch of extra adrenaline. It’s quintessential stretch zone.

But mostly it’s about friends who pull you out of the trenches to remind you to do things that make you feel like a kid again. That 100th place is worth a high five. That being alive is simply awesome.
