Crosier Electric Close Out Season With Win Over Dalton Fire

Crosier Electric finished the season with a strong offensive performance, defeating Dalton Fire 16-6 on Tuesday at Chamberlain Park.

Crosier Electric jumped out early, scoring seven runs in the second inning to take an 8-1 lead. Murphy D delivered the biggest hit of the inning with an RBI triple, and the offense continued to roll throughout the game. Crosier Electric finished with 18 hits, led by Matt S and Angelo T with three hits each. Angelo also drove in three runs, while Joey H, Weston D, Murphy, Theo S, and Michael A each collected multiple hits.

Matt S had a strong day both at the plate and on the mound, going 3-for-3 with a triple while earning the win. He allowed two runs over three innings and struck out seven batters.

Dalton Fire continued to battle, collecting 17 walks as a team and putting together several strong offensive moments. Joseph R led the team with three RBIs, while Quinlan A, Joseph, and Max S each recorded hits. Cooper K reached base three times with walks and added two stolen bases.

Both teams showed great effort throughout the season and represented the league well. With this game, the season comes to an end for both Crosier Electric and Dalton Fire. Thank you to all of the players, coaches, families, and volunteers for another great year and for being such an important part of the Dalton-Hinsdale Little League community.

Dalton Police Association Punches Ticket To Championship Game With Win Over Hinsdale Lions

Dalton Police Association secured a spot in the championship game with an 11-1 victory over Hinsdale Lions on Saturday at Chamberlain Park.

Hinsdale Lions struck first in the opening inning after Alex D grounded out to bring home a run, but Dalton Police Association answered in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game.

Dalton Police Association took control in the third inning, scoring five runs on two hits to take a 6-1 lead. Corbin “Big Country” C delivered the biggest hit of the inning with a two-run triple to help break the game open.

Tye “Showtyme” S shut the door on the mound in relief, tossing three scoreless innings with nine strikeouts while allowing just one hit. Colton “RBI King” B started the game and allowed one run over two innings.

John “Boomstick” M led Dalton Police Association with two hits, while Corbin “Big Country”, John “Boomstick”, and Koleman “9-Iron” W each drove in two runs. Dalton Police Association also showed patience at the plate, drawing seven walks, and played a clean game defensively.

Graylan M led Hinsdale Lions with two hits and added two stolen bases. Alex drove in Hinsdale’s lone run.

With the win, Dalton Police Association advances to the championship game and will face Realty Street on Friday. Congratulations to Hinsdale Lions on a great season and a strong year of baseball.

Realty Street Advances To Championship Game After Holding Off Crosier Electric

Realty Street held off a strong comeback attempt from Crosier Electric to earn an 8-6 victory on Saturday at Chamberlain Park in the playoff semifinals.

Realty Street jumped out to an early lead behind a strong offensive performance, highlighted by a three-run double from Chuck W in the first inning. Liam C added another run with a double in the third inning to help build the lead.

Crosier Electric battled back with a big fifth inning, scoring six runs on five hits to cut the deficit to two. Weston D and Murphy D each drove in two runs, while Weston added two stolen bases.

Joey H started on the mound for Crosier Electric, striking out nine over four innings. Tony Z led Realty Street on the mound, striking out 10 while allowing just one hit over four innings.

Chuck W paced Realty Street offensively with four RBIs, while Camden P and Chuck W each collected multiple hits. Both teams played a clean defensive game without committing an error.

With the win, Realty Street advances to the championship game next Friday. Crosier Electric will play Dalton Fire in a consolation game on Tuesday.

This morning, we were excited to welcome the Galusha Baseball League to Chamberlain Park for their championship game!

It was great to see another group of young athletes take the field, compete, and celebrate a great season right here in our community. Having opportunities like this at Chamberlain Park helps bring more players, families, and baseball fans together.

The Galusha Baseball League is a valued partner of DHLL, and we’re proud to share this space with another great local baseball organization. We hope to see many of these players back on our fields in the future! ⚾️

Hinsdale Lions Advance Past Dalton Fire Behind Strong Pitching Performance

Hinsdale Lions defeated Dalton Fire 6-2 on Tuesday at Chamberlain Park in the playoff play-in game.

Dalton Fire jumped out to an early lead when Joseph R singled home a run in the first inning, but Hinsdale Lions answered back to tie the game and took control with a strong offensive performance.

Liam W led Hinsdale Lions on the mound, striking out 13 batters while allowing just five hits and two runs over six innings. Alex D provided the big offensive moment with an inside-the-park home run in the third inning, finishing the day 3-for-3 at the plate.

Dalton Fire received strong contributions from Joseph R, who collected two hits and drove in the team’s two runs. Dalton Fire also played a clean defensive game, not committing an error.

With the win, Hinsdale Lions advance to the semifinals where they will face Dalton Police Association. Dalton Fire will play a consolation game next Tuesday at 5:45 PM.
