Storms have become a regular part of life around Dalton. No single large-scale disaster; just storms hitting day after day and families needing help.

This month, we’ve had the privilege of serving 12 local families, including several widows - by removing trees, clearing debris and cleaning up the mess.

Some jobs needed only a chainsaw and helping hands. Others required heavy equipment. But every family needed someone to come alongside them after the storm.

It’s one way we’re living out 1 Timothy 5:3:
“Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need.”

Reflecting on a reflection from last week while doing flood relief work in Louisiana. 2 Corinthians 4:18, 'So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.'

So thankful to help families in need, working alongside brothers and sisters in Christ who all have a beautiful servant's heart.

We are doing flood relief in and around Morrow, LA. God's Pit Crew, Minutemen out of Texas, One Voice NoLa, and tremendous men and women serving as the hands and feet of Jesus. Pray for our new friend David. It was a blessing to serve him in his time of need.

Brantley County Hwy 82 Wildfire Relief/Recovery Trip. Over 22,000 acres in the Southeastern part of Georgia was burned due to this wildfire. We are partnering with Faith Responders in Nahunta, GA. The plan is to assist with tree removal and rebuild/recovery efforts while we are there.

The team will be leaving the shop at 1pm Sunday, June 28th and returning Friday July 3rd. You're welcome to join us for any part of this relief/recovery trip as your schedule allows - even if it's just for a day or two. Tap the link.
