DAY 9 | CONTINUING THE MISSION

After a much-needed day of rest and worship on Sunday, the Rebuilding Hope team was back at it today in Pensacola!

Of course, the day couldn’t begin without another round of repairs to the lift! But once it was up and running, the team got right back to work.

✅ 4 more jobs completed today!

Every tree removed and every yard cleared is another step toward helping these families recover from the storm.

We’re thankful for this hardworking team, the strength God continues to provide, and the opportunity to serve those in need.

Please continue praying for our volunteers, the families they’re serving, and the equipment that’s getting quite the workout! 🙏

Hands of Hope. Feet of Faith. Hearts of Compassion.

DAY 8 | REBUILDING HOPE – PENSACOLA, FL

Today looked a little different for our team.

A morning of worship and fellowship at Pinewoods Church PCA, some time assessing the work still ahead, and a little much-needed rest.

After a busy week of serving, today was a welcome opportunity to slow down, recharge, and prepare for the days ahead.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to worship, serve, and continue sharing the love of Christ with the people of Pensacola.

Hands of Hope. Feet of Faith. Hearts of Compassion.

🙏 Please continue praying for our team and the families we’re serving.

DAY 7 | ONE WEEK IN PENSACOLA!

One week of showing up, serving others, and watching God work through the hands and feet of volunteers!

Our Rebuilding Hope team has now completed 12 jobs, helping families recover from the storm damage left behind. But the work goes beyond removing fallen trees and clearing debris. Our volunteers have had opportunities to talk with and pray alongside many of the families they’ve served.

And it certainly hasn’t been a week without challenges! From a skid steer battery and lift wiring problems to busted hydraulic hoses, chainsaw issues, truck brakes, and even a water leak in the camper, our team has faced one equipment setback after another. The lift’s hydraulic pump motor gave us another challenge this evening, and we’re hoping to get the parts needed Monday morning.

But through it all, the team has continued to serve!

12 jobs completed. Countless hours volunteered. Opportunities to share the love of Christ.

Please continue praying for our volunteers, the families in Pensacola, and the equipment that keeps this mission moving.

Want to be part of the mission? You can volunteer on the ground, help answer calls from home, pray, or support the work financially.

Day 6 in Pensacola, and our Rebuilding Hope team is still hard at work!

Another fallen tree cleared, another property cleaned up, and another family one step closer to recovering from Hurricane Isaias.

And sometimes, even the aftermath of a storm can become an opportunity to share a little hope. ❤️ Just look at the cross left behind!

Our volunteers continue to give their time, energy, and talents to serve families who need a helping hand. We are grateful for every one of them!

Want to be part of the mission? You can volunteer on the ground, help answer calls from home, pray for the families and volunteers, or support the work through a donation.

Every act of service makes a difference!

Day 5 in Pensacola – Another Job Complete!

After a few days of unexpected equipment setbacks, everything was back up and running today! Our team was able to complete another job, removing fallen trees and debris from a home affected by Hurricane Isaias.

While today’s job wasn’t quite as massive as the last, the mission remains the same: being the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing hope and practical help to families in need.

There are still families who need assistance, and there are several ways you can be part of the mission!

-Volunteer alongside our team in Pensacola for a few days.

-Serve from home by helping answer calls for a few hours.

-Pray for the families affected and the volunteers serving them.

-Give to help keep our disaster relief efforts moving forward.

Every prayer, every volunteer, and every donation makes a difference.

Hands of Hope. Feet of Faith. Hearts of Compassion.

JOB COMPLETE! 🙌🌳

This was a BIG one!

Massive trees, extensive storm damage, and even some equipment challenges along the way. This job tested our crew, but they kept pushing forward.

After days of cutting, clearing, hauling, and working through the unexpected, the job is complete!

What began as a home surrounded by fallen trees and debris is now a property where the homeowners can begin moving forward.

But this mission has never been just about removing trees. It’s about showing up, serving others, praying with families, and sharing the hope of Christ in the middle of difficult circumstances.

We’re thankful for every volunteer, every prayer, and every person who has helped make this work possible.

Reflecting on a reflection from last week while doing flood relief work in Louisiana. 2 Corinthians 4:18, 'So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.'

So thankful to help families in need, working alongside brothers and sisters in Christ who all have a beautiful servant's heart.
