Acts of Valor Is Expanding Our Approach to Veteran Care
Our mission has always been to take care of our warriors the way they took care of this country. Over the years, we’ve seen too many veterans fight battles at home that they never expected. Traditional support hasn’t been enough for everyone, so we’re stepping forward with a broader, stronger set of tools.
Here’s why we’ve chosen this path:
🧠 Psychedelic-assisted therapy
Many veterans carry trauma that runs deep. Some don’t respond to standard treatments, leaving them stuck in the same pain they’ve carried for years. Psychedelic therapy has shown real promise in helping people process trauma, reduce symptoms, and finally move forward. We believe every veteran deserves access to treatments that can truly change their life.
🤝 Peer-to-peer support
No one understands a veteran like another veteran. When warriors talk openly with someone who’s walked the same ground, healing happens faster. Peer support brings back trust, connection, and accountability — things many service members lose when they leave the military.
🏕️ Community activities and outdoor programs
Healing isn’t only found in a clinic. Time outdoors, shared experiences, friendly competition, and moments of peace help veterans reconnect with themselves and others. Whether it’s hunting, fishing, golf, or a simple gathering, these moments rebuild confidence and community.
Our goal is simple: give our warfighters every tool possible to stay mentally sharp, physically active, and spiritually grounded.
We’re not just adding programs. We’re rebuilding the brotherhood — and giving veterans real ways to heal, connect, and thrive.
