Carter Hope Center is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization that was established on February 23, 1998. Carter Hope provides affordable clinically managed low intensity residential treatment for those suffering from addictive diseases. In early 1999, we opened our recovery residence to aid those in early recovery. We provide a structured and safe living environment to those individuals that are in need

of a long-term residential program, which encourages spiritual, physical, and emotional recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.

Due to unavoidable supply issues our food pantry at Carter Hope center for today has been canceled. We will resume two weeks from today.

Carter Hope Center would like to announce the recruitment of qualified and dedicated individuals to serve on the Board of Directors for Carter Hope Center. A strong board is essential to the continued growth, governance and strategic direction of any organization, so we are seeking individuals who bring diverse perspectives, a willingness to actively contribute their time and skills and a commitment to furthering our mission of providing affordable, effective treatment for alcohol and drug addiction.

We encourage the consideration of a broad and inclusive pool of individuals to ensure that the board reflects a range of backgrounds, experiences and viewpoints. This diversity will strengthen decision-making and enhance our ability to effectively serve our stakeholders. Whether you have been in active recovery for 5 years, have family and/or friends who struggle with addiction, want to be a part of helping addicts become productive members of society, or just making our communities safer places to live, you have something to contribute.

Families or individuals needing food assistance - Carter Hope will be doing the food pantry again this coming Friday, July 24th, from 12-4 at 305 East Hawthorne St. We will be doing it every other friday please share.

If any families in the area are in need of food, come tomorrow to the Carter Hope 12 Step Recovery Center at 305 East Hawthorne St. Dalton Ga. 30721. Food boxes will be given out from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
