Congratulations to our 8th cohort of AHEC Scholars: Adele, Ashley, Brianna, Caleb, Colleen, Cyrus, Liz, Jenna, Jennifer, Lauren, Marcia, Marquisha, Nick, & Skye! 🎉

These scholars have completed 40 hours of learning, leadership, and community engagement — going above and beyond to strengthen their skills, expand their understanding of healthcare needs, and make a meaningful impact in the communities they serve.

“Forty hours of learning is more than time spent — it’s a commitment to growth, compassion, and the power to make a difference in every life you touch.”

When asked “Why AHEC Scholars?” their responses spoke volumes — connection, teamwork, educational, empowering, knowledge and empathy. Their word cloud reflects the passion and purpose this incredible cohort brings to healthcare.

We are so proud of each of you and can’t wait to see the difference you continue to make! “Please join us in congratulating these outstanding scholars! 👏💙”

Congratulations to our AHEC Scholars — Class of 2026! 🎉

These associate degree in nursing students went above and beyond throughout their AHEC Scholars journey, dedicating extra time to learning more about the communities they serve, giving back through service, and striving for excellence in all they do.

One of the highlights of this year was seeing AHEC Scholars alumni return to support and encourage the current cohort — a true reflection of the leadership, connection, and community that this program inspires.

We are incredibly proud of all of our scholars for their commitment, compassion, leadership, and passion for improving community health. Your future patients and communities are fortunate to have you, and we cannot wait to see the impact you will continue to make. đź’™
