At this rate there will be a mass exit from Whitfield county. There is nothing about Whitfield or Dalton that justifies the level of taxes it extorts from citizens.

Here's the Whitfield County Board of Education screwing over the county residents as well. Not as bad as the city but damn, 21.99% tax increase.

They speak about the high-quality education at the bottom of this article but four schools in the county are in the bottom 25% in the entire state.

Note that they want to put some blame on the tax debacle as well. They know we know that the 2023 property values plus 10% is straight bu****it. Everyone's property values were assessed far above the 10% and that is why so many of us appealed them.

Public hearings will be held on June 26th at noon and 5:30 p.m. Another will be held on July 3rd at 5:30 p.m. All three will be held at Whitfield County Schools District Office, located at 3264 Cleveland Highway, Dalton, GA.

At this point everyone should refuse to pay their taxes. Can't throw us all in jail. I don't think the Sheriff would even attempt to do so either.

We said things like this would happen. Wages are beginning to increase. This is because competitive pressures are beginning to ease. Tom Homan’s ICE has removed over 65,000 illegal immigrants. That’s a lot of pressure off wages and off our housing market.

We have refused to get off of this topic because we understand the local impacts of this dramatic change in policy.

We know of contractors who have had to start taking work in Atlanta because they are having to bid against Dalton laborers who are willing to work for very little. These laborers often share housing enabling them to work for less. This severely damages our local economy.

ALSO the lie that “Americans do not want the jobs illegal immigrants take.” has been shattered. Link to article in comments. This is such a hateful lie that demeans ALL hardworking legal residents of the United States. Americans are lining up to fill the jobs previously filled by illegal immigrants.

The articles shared on this post and in the comment section indicate that the US is starting to trend in the right direction. All it took was change in leadership.

President Donald Trump just oversaw the first rise in wages for everyday workers in almost six decades of a declining middle America.

Repetition increases belief in the repeated information. This is why you can expect relentless repetition of false and misleading claims from left leaning media and their wealthy democrat allies.

We have looked extensively into the groups behind these protests. They are tapping into the anger against ICE but for the top level organizers these protests are about general resistance to anything Trump. These groups are planning their next moves as you read this.

If the past is any indication, there will be more violence from the left against police and there will be more private property destroyed.

If you see protesters chanting and raving about mass deportation and kings or whatever just keep in mind that most Americans are at odds with these protesters. 93 percent of republicans and even 43 percent of democrats support the deportation of illegal immigrants.

These protests are about changing the narrative because "we support illegal immigration" just doesn't illicit the response for which the left was looking.

Did you know it is currently against the law for schools to deny admission to undocumented students based on immigration status? Put another way, schools are LEGALLY required to admit ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY YOUR SCHOOL TAX IS SO HIGH!

To those who may say "Illegal immigrants pay taxes too". Technically that is true but they do not pay enough to cover their overall fiscal burden. Don't believe us? Brace yourself for the next post.

A quote from GPB:

“Carpenter said over half of his district is Hispanic and his office receives six to seven calls per week from constituents concerned they will find themselves in a similar situation to Arias-Cristobal.”

This quote has lead us to ask:

“if these people, to whom Kasey refers as “constituents”, are concerned about ending up in the same situation as Cristobal, does that imply they are in the US illegally as well?”

Cited in this piece is a pending case that alleges an illegal immigrant engaged in various forms of fraud and even voted in the 2024 election.

Some time ago we discussed an instance where Carpenter successfully stumped for the Patterson Farms TAD and called the tax dollars up for grabs "Imaginary money". Will Kasey get a restaurant at Patterson Farms on Cleveland highway? We will have to wait and see but in the meantime there’s a new Carpenter gaffe to discuss.

"Pressures from the influx of migrants into Whitfield County have combined with other economic pressures to create headwinds for Whitfield parents."

We chose to write this article to shed light on some of the impacts felt by average residents who reside in a sanctuary city or county. (If you take issue with this statement see our previous article titled “The American Immigration Crisis”.) In the referenced piece, we stated that high hispanic populations have negative impacts on the communities in which they congregate.

While childcare is not the only system hispanics disproportionally burden, it is an impact that directly correlates to the economic well being of local parents. Our hope is to help people better understand how our community has been impacted and why we must take action. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH WANTING CLOSED BORDERS AND LEGAL IMMIGRATION.
