Contino's Shoes & Repair has been a family-owned business founded in 1926 by Jack Contino in Red Lion and has been passed down through three generations. The business has been in Dallastown since 1984. Allen Contino, Jack’s grandson, has been running the shop in recent years, continuing the family tradition of serving the community and repairing shoes. A significant piece of local history is that the store recently announced it would be closing after a century in business. Contino’s recently thanked the community for its support over the past 100 years, with the final day of operation listed as June 12, 2026.

Contino’s specialized in repairs such as resoling, heel replacement, stretching, shining, and leather goods repair, while also selling work boots and footwear. Happy Retirement! You will be missed!
