Dallastown Mini-THON

Hi, Everyone!
This is a reminder that the registration deadline for this year’s Dallastown High School Mini-THON is this Friday (2/20) at midnight.

What does that mean?
* Students in grades 9-12 who want to attend the 12-hour overnight event on March 6-7 MUST be registered for the event on Donor Drive with the minumum $50 by 2/20 at midnight-NO EXCEPTIONS.
* They MUST be registered so we can plan food, activities, t-Shirts etc.
*That money can be on their online Donor Drive or they can bring cash or check to school to be added to their account.
* All registered students will get an event t-shirt and bag. All food/events at Mini-THON are included. No need to bring any other money to the event!
* Students can continue to fundraise after the 20th for Incentives, VIP status, and Top Fundraiser awards—and just to help us reach our goal For The Kids!
* HS students have received many emails over the last 3 months with more information, links to register, frequently asked questions and more! They should look for emails from Mrs. Smeltzer with details!

Dallastown Mini-THON is excited to announce we are hosting a Harlem Wizards basketball game on Sunday, November 9, at 2 p.m. in the high school gym. This exciting event will feature the world-famous Harlem Wizards taking on our very own team of Dallastown faculty and staff!

We hosted a game in 2017, and it was a fun-filled day for everyone, all while raising money for Four Diamonds. This year, we look forward to another unforgettable game and more memories with the Dallastown community.

You can purchase tickets online now. We have a variety of options available, including general admission, reserved tickets, and courtside plus packages. All are explained on the website.

Tomorrow is our third and final Homecoming dress sale for this year. We have TONS of new dresses this week thanks to our partners in the fight at Lillas Bridal Boutique ! They gave us 3 huge boxes this week in a variety of sizes and styles! Come shop with us on Sunday from 12-3 in the high school front lobby to make Homecoming affordable and to support Four Diamonds!

Wow! Friday was an amazing day!!! We sold shirts and spirit items all day long and are almost sold out of the 800 Beat Cancer shirts we bought this year! We had a tailgate party with our Four Diamonds families and watched them be honorary captains with the football team. Our student section supported the cause all night long, and we made over $1500 canning through the crowd in our Four Minutes for Four Diamonds! All in all we made almost $6000 in one day FOR THE KIDS!! Thank you, Dalllastown!

Yesterday, several of our committee heads and advisers were given the incredible opportunity to tour Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey. They met with Four Diamonds specialty care providers and researchers and learned more about the impact of our fundraising efforts. It was amazing to see behind the scenes and to witness how the money our event raises impacts families.
