Please join us in welcoming Chris Bream as our new Veteran Outreach Advisory Committee Member for Building Bridges for Brianna!
Chris is a lifelong resident of York County and a graduate of Dallastown Area High School and Penn State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He has proudly served our nation as an active-duty United States Marine for the past 15 years and currently serves as a Supply Chain Manager stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Throughout his military career, Chris has served in numerous locations across the country, including North Carolina, California, and Virginia. During his time at Camp Pendleton, he became certified as a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator, overseeing a team of Victim Advocates dedicated to supporting survivors through the assistance and recovery process.
As our new Veteran Outreach Advisory Committee Member, Chris will help strengthen our efforts to connect veterans, active-duty service members, and their families with mental health resources, support services, and community connections. His passion for advocacy, leadership, and service makes him a tremendous addition to our organization as we continue building the bridge for mental health.
When he is not serving his country, Chris enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his dogs. He is also a dedicated fan of Penn State football and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Chris shared, "I am excited to be a part of the Building Bridges for Brianna organization and help support and promote mental wellness while connecting veterans and those currently serving with the care and support they deserve. I am dedicated to encouraging healing, hope, and long-term success for those who have served our nation so proudly. As both a Marine officer and advocate, I am committed to serving others, strengthening communities, and helping veterans and their families navigate the path toward wellness and fulfillment."
We are honored to have Chris join our Advisory Committee and look forward to the impact he will make as we expand our outreach and support for the veteran community.
Welcome to the team, Chris! πΊπΈππ
