Hello Iris lovers of Dallas and beyond. Due to some administrative issues The Iris Society of Dallas now has a new page and Instagram account! Go follow our new page for current event updates and, when bloom season starts, lots of new iris pictures!

The Iris Society of Dallas (ISD) is a nonprofit organization, established in 1954 to promote the growing of irises in our area and to foster communication and sharing of information among iris growers.

We invite you to join The Tall Bearded Iris Society because we are committed to educate, inspire, and connect with all our members. Our bi-annual Tall Talk magazine that members receive in Spring and Fall is filled with engaging articles from our members, practical growing tips, insights into hybridizing, information on reputable iris suppliers, and beautiful photographs of both new and historic iris varieties. Whether you are a new iris gardener just discovering tall bearded irises or a seasoned hybridizer, Tall Talk has something for you. You can either join and pay online at www.tbiris.org or download the membership application from our webpage and mail it in.
**Join now so you will receive the Spring issue of Tall Talk magazine that comes out next month. There will be an article about the Amarillo Botanic Garden by Bill Pittmen and an article on Tom Burseen by Stephanie Myers. Also a new section called 'Hybridizers Corner' will feature some Texas hybridizers.**
