WE THE PEOPLE ARE SHOWING UP. ✊🏾🇺🇸

On September 10, as Republican national leaders gather in Dallas, the people will gather too. We are coming together for a peaceful and powerful demonstration to defend our democracy, protect our freedoms, reject hate and division, and stand with communities whose rights and dignity are under attack.

Throughout history, progress has happened because ordinary people refused to remain silent. From civil rights and voting rights to workers’ rights and the continuing fight for equality, change happens when people organize, stand together, and show up. Now it is our turn.

Join thousands of people from across Texas on Thursday, September 10, at 6:00 PM at Dallas City Hall Plaza, 1500 Marilla Street, Dallas, TX 75201. Bring your family, your organization, your faith community, your neighbors, and most importantly, bring your voice.

OUR DEMOCRACY. OUR FREEDOMS. OUR FUTURE.

THE PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER. WE THE PEOPLE SHALL NEVER BE DIVIDED.

Join the We the People Rally for Democracy on September 10th at Dallas City Hall Plaza. Stand together for our democracy, our freedoms, and our future.

In a time of rising hate speech and political violence, we must stand together. Join us for a national call to action: a safe, peaceful rally in Texas to champion our First Amendment rights. Let's make our voices heard, respectfully and powerfully.

The president chose Dallas for a novel midterm convention, stating his affection for the city. However, the sentiment isn't mutual.

WE THE PEOPLE ARE SHOWING UP. ✊🏾🇺🇸

On September 10, as Republican national leaders gather in Dallas, the people will gather too. We are coming together at Dallas City Hall Plaza for a peaceful, powerful demonstration rooted in democracy, justice, freedom, and the fundamental belief that government belongs to the people.

This is bigger than political parties. This is about protecting our democracy, defending our freedoms, rejecting hate and division, and standing together against efforts that threaten the rights and dignity of our communities. No matter our race, religion, background, gender, generation, or neighborhood, WE THE PEOPLE SHALL NEVER BE DIVIDED.

Throughout history, progress has happened because ordinary people refused to remain silent. From voting rights and civil rights to workers’ rights, women’s rights, immigrant rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and the continuing struggle for racial and economic justice, change has always required people willing to show up. Now it is our turn.

We will not surrender our voices. We will not allow fear or hate to divide our communities. We will organize. We will vote. We will advocate. We will march. And we will peacefully make our voices heard.

On September 10, join organizations, advocates, faith leaders, community leaders, families, students, workers, and people from across North Texas as we declare together:

OUR DEMOCRACY. OUR FREEDOMS. OUR FUTURE.

12 YEARS OF COMMITMENT TO JUSTICE.

Today, the Next Generation Action Network celebrates 12 years of standing on the front lines for justice, equality, accountability, and change.

Since August 26, 2014, we have organized communities, stood with families, fought for policy change, developed young leaders, challenged injustice, and amplified the voices of people too often ignored.

The journey has not always been easy, but through every victory, challenge, and chapter, we kept showing up. We kept organizing. We kept fighting.

To every member, volunteer, organizer, family, partner, supporter, and community that has stood with us over these 12 years: thank you. This legacy belongs to all of us.

12 years down and our work is far from finished.

People Power. Policy Power. Political Power.

Justice Today. Tomorrow. Forever.

Next Generation Action Network President and Founder Minister Dominique Alexander addresses the upcoming August 19 & 20 hearings involving Karmelo Anthony and the growing community movement for justice.

Across the country, people are asking: What can we do? How can we help? How can we stay involved? Today, we are discussing the path forward and how our community can remain informed, engaged, peaceful, and organized throughout this process.

Community advocacy is separate from the legal process being handled by the attorneys. Our responsibility is to organize, educate, engage, and mobilize.

Justice takes a movement. Stay informed. Stay engaged. Get organized.
