What a glorious ending to the 2025 Baptist Women’s Summit – “Living the Good News” (Luke 4:18-19)! 🙌💜

Today marked the final day of this incredible global gathering, and it has truly been amazing from start to finish. We are deeply grateful to Karen Wilson and Merritt Johnston for their tireless leadership and heart in making this 75th anniversary celebration of BWA Women one to remember. 🎉

The breakout sessions were filled with insight and encouragement, and each speaker, from all corners of the globe, shared a powerful message that stirred our hearts and strengthened our faith.

As we prayed, sang, and worshiped together, we were reminded that we are united by the Good News and called to carry it into the world.

Thank you to every woman who participated, served, and showed up with purpose and passion. We leave inspired, connected, and ready to live the Good News.

2025 Women's Summit Begins in Brisbane – "Living the Good News" 🌟

Today marked the powerful opening of the 2025 Baptist World Alliance Women’s Summit here in beautiful Brisbane, Australia, and what a Spirit-filled beginning it was! ✨

We were graciously welcomed by Karen Wilson, President of Baptist World Alliance Women, and Merritt Johnston, Executive Director of BWA Women. Their words set the tone for a gathering rooted in faith, unity, and purpose. 💖

A special highlight was the inspiring presentation by Patty Lane of Baptist Women of North America, which included a moving reflection on BWA Women’s of North America meaningful engagement and initiatives. 🌍💪

With women representing every corner of the globe, today was a living testimony of the Good News in action, shared across languages, cultures, and hearts united in Christ.

We are expectant of what God will continue to do through this summit. Let His truth be our guide, and His love our banner. 💫

🌍🙏 What a sacred and joyous beginning to our time together! The 2025 Baptist Women's Summit has officially opened. starting with a beautiful luncheon, a table of love, food, and fellowship shared with sisters from around the world. 💖✨

We are so grateful for the warm welcome from Merritt Johnston, Executive Director of BWA Women, and Karen Wilson, Global President of BWA Women. Their words reminded us of God’s faithfulness and the power of women united in Christ. 💫

As we gather, we celebrate the beauty of global sisterhood, the strength of our shared faith, and the hope we carry for what God is doing through us, across nations, languages, and cultures.

May this time together be filled with encouragement, connection, and the sweet presence of the Holy Spirit. 💕🌺

We'll meet every third (3rd) Tuesday of the month at 8pm EST (US and Canada) on Zoom, starting TOMORROW, April 22, 2025.
