The Korean-American National Sports Festival The Korean American National Sports Festival in held every two years around the United States to promote athletics and the Korean Culture. Our Program Plan

Our Objective

The Korean American Sports Council of Washington D.C will fulfill The Korean American Sports Council's established purpose through the Korean American National Sports Festival by gathering Korean Americans from all over the United States and celebrating our heritage, while enjoying healthy competition through sport. We will also promote communication between Korean Americans in the

local area as well as in other regions of the country. The Korean American Sports Festival, held in the capital city of America, Washington D.C, will gather together Korean Americans from all over the United States and promote participant goodwill.

2. Throughout the Korean American Sports Festival, we will join together in solidarity and lay a solid foundation for future events.

3. To familiarize younger generation Korean Americans with the skills necessary for them to become the future leaders of this nation.

4. Event information will be provided online by The Korean American Sports Festival Committee for community, event participants, and visitors. Our Vision

1. Unity - Due to the easily accessible local area, many will choose to attend.

2. Harmony - The area is convenient to navigate.

3. Economy - The event will promote local businesses and stimulate the economy as well as by affordable to all participants/attendees.

4. Kindness - Event staff will be educated to ensure the sports participants will have a supportive environment.

5. Publicity - Attendance will be maximized by advanced publicity.

"Like NY KANSF will prepare definitely!"

The 22nd KANSF (NY KANSF), which will be held again in New York 40 years after the 1981 (1st) Los Angeles KANSF and the 1983 (2nd) NY KANSF, is only 100 days away now.

A lot of interest and support from Koreans is needed so that this NY KANSF, which is held every two years for more than 40 years as only one nationality in the world, spreads K-culture wave and unites through sports, can be a successful festival.

1981년(제1회)LA미주체전을 시작으로1983년(제2회)NY미주체전이후 40년만에 뉴욕에서 다시 개최되는 제22회 전미주한인체육대회(뉴욕 미주체전)가 앞으로 100일 남았다.

전세계에서 유일하게 40년이상 2년마다 개최되는 미주청소년 아마추어 체육대회가 체육을넘어 K한류문화를 널리 알리고 체육으로 하나되는 이번 뉴욕미주체전이 성공체전이 될수 있도록 한인들의 많은 관심과 지원이 필요합니다.
