Announcing the 2026 DWLA Foundation Outreach Grant Recipients!
The Dallas Women Lawyers Association Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of this year’s Outreach Grant—an initiative that supports local organizations making a meaningful impact through advocacy, education, empowerment, and access to justice. We’re honored to support these incredible organizations as they continue their significant work in our communities!
Congratulations to our 2026 recipients:
💜 New Friends New Life – NFNL restores and empowers trafficked and s*xually exploited teen girls, women and their children, and drives awareness of the issue and its prevalence.
💜 Young Women's Preparatory Network – Young Women's Preparatory Network's mission is to support college-preparatory public education, giving young women the academic and leadership skills to achieve success in college and in life.
💜 Human Rights Initiative of North Texas – DWLAF’s Outreach Grant supports HRI’s Unaccompanied Children’s program and provision of legal representation to survivors of human rights abuses.
💜 Genesis Women's Shelter & Support– Genesis Women's Shelter and Support provides safety, shelter and support to women and children experiencing domestic violence, and raises awareness regarding its cause, prevalence and impact.
💜 Shiloh Place equip single mothers with financial independence and personal wholeness by addressing their physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual needs.
💜 Conference on Crimes Against Women (CCAW) provides a national forum to disseminate the highest level of training, information and strategies to professionals who are responders and advocates to victims of the many and varied forms of crimes against women including domestic violence, human trafficking, s*xual assault and strangulation.
💜 POETIC equips youth (ages 12-18+) who have experienced child maltreatment, commercial s*xual exploitation and s*x trafficking to find their voices, reclaim their narratives and persist forward through comprehensive, evidence-based, and trauma-informed programming.
We are inspired by these organizations’ dedication and impact, and the Dallas Women Lawyers Association Foundation is proud to partner with them in creating lasting change.
