Project Unity A Community Building Solution for Businesses and Organizations Our core focus is building and sustaining community.

Project Unity is a collaborative movement based on the faith-driven belief that what unites us is greater than what divides us. Our mission is fulfilled through dialogue, community-building events and activities, education and empowerment. Project Unity hosts a number of programs and events in Dallas and throughout North Texas during the year to encourage safe and honest conversations about race and race relations. We seek to achieve our mission of building and sustaining a stronger, more united community together through a series of programs and initiatives entitled “Together We…”

🍽️ Building Common Ground 🍽️

Our collaborations with our friends at Common Ground USA continue! Recently, we hosted our Together We Dine experience at South Texas College. These gatherings remind us that understanding and meaningful change begins with simple moments of connection—sharing a meal, exchanging perspectives, and recognizing our shared humanity.

We’re looking forward to continuing to build common ground—together!

This evening, join the Dallas Holocaust Museum’s Special Opening for their newest exhibition: Black Cowboys, An American Story.

The American cowboy occupies a large place in our popular imagination, continuing as a major focus in pop culture, music, and movies. Cowboys are symbols of our country’s rugged individualism, freedom, and self-reliance. However, common depictions mostly ignore the role Black cowboys played in shaping the history of Texas and the American West. Join us as Ronald Davis II, Ph.D., curator of the Black Cowboys exhibition, explores the enduring legacy of these trailblazers and their influence on American culture, identity, and storytelling.
