Pamela C. Hill Memorial

Pamela C. Hill Memorial SAVE THE DATE! October 8, 2015. Register for 18 holes of golf to support MD Anderson cancer research. RSVP for dinner and come bid at the silent auction.

Pamela was a sweet, intelligent high achiever that was a Varsity Cheerleader at Plano West Senior High School prior to graduating cm laude (and early) as an English major at Texas A&M. She was 25 when she lost her life to BRAF-mutant metastatic melanoma. Having been diagnosed just weeks after a great time spent with her family and friends at a Merle Haggard concert at Billy Bob's Texas, some onco

logists didn't expect her to survive the year. Her will to live and aggressive, sometimes experimental treatment regime lead by top physicians at MD Anderson Cancer Center gave her over a year of "bonus time." Pamela's will to live and desire to fight is what kept her around to spread love and influence to others. Had she overcome this disease, her wish was to counsel and help others suffering from cancer. The PCH Memorial Inc. is her family's way of continuing her fight and carrying out this wish. Our family story of the fight is available at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/pamelahill
