❤️ A Big THANK YOU to Our Community!

What a wonderful Saturday at the Turnaround Resale Store! 🛍️

To everyone who came out to support our Vendor Saturday, our final Sidewalk Sale of the season, and our resale store, we want to say THANK YOU! Your support means more than you know.

Today was a beautiful reminder of why we’re working to create more events and opportunities right here in our community.

One of the highlights of the day was a conversation with a gentleman who shared that he lived just down the street. He told us how happy he was to see events like this happening in his neighborhood and how much he appreciated having the opportunity to support local small businesses.

That’s exactly what we hope to accomplish. ❤️

We want the Turnaround Resale Store to be more than a place to shop. We want to help create opportunities for families and neighbors to gather, discover something new, and enjoy great experiences close to home.

Just as importantly, we want to provide a place where small business owners can introduce their products, build relationships, reach new customers, and grow their brands.

And we’re already seeing those connections happen!

Pictured here is a refreshing strawberry lemonade from 16 Kings Refreshers, one of our participating vendors. 🍓🍋 We had a wonderful conversation with the business owner about her products, including her sugar-free options, and the possibility of working together beyond Vendor Saturday.

These are the kinds of relationships and opportunities we hope will continue to grow!

To our vendors, thank you for investing your time, talent, and energy into today’s event. To our customers and neighbors, thank you for showing up and supporting not only our store but the entrepreneurs who are building their dreams.

We’re not just creating shopping events. We’re creating opportunities for community connection, economic growth, and neighborhood engagement.

And this is only the beginning!

Thank you for growing with us! ❤️

The store will also be open from 10 AM–3 PM, so be sure to shop inside too!

Saturday is also Donation Day. Our truck will be in the parking lot from 9 AM–1 PM accepting donations.

🕊️ Sealed in Him

Have you ever wondered if you could do something so wrong that God would stop loving you?

For a long time, I wrestled with that question. I knew Jesus had died for my sins, but I still feared that somehow my failures could loosen God’s grip on my life.

Then I spent time studying Ephesians 1:13–14.

Paul reminds us that when we hear the gospel, believe in Jesus Christ, and place our faith in Him, we are sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. In biblical times, a seal represented ownership, authenticity, protection, and security.

Think about that for a moment.

If God is the One who has sealed us, then our confidence isn’t found in our ability to be perfect. It’s found in His faithfulness.

That doesn’t make us careless about sin. Instead, it frees us to pursue Christ with confidence, knowing His love isn’t based on our performance but on His finished work.

One of the ways we serve our community is by sharing biblical encouragement through our Stories & Devotionals blog. Throughout the month, I write about what God is teaching me through His Word. This week’s post, “Sealed in Him,” explores the assurance we have in Christ and the peace that comes from knowing we belong to Him.

I pray it encourages you as much as it encouraged me.

Together We Give, and look how far we’ve come. 🍎

We’re just $400 away from fully funding Feed Our Community Fresh — this quarter’s initiative to stock our food pantry refrigerators with fresh fruits, veggies, dairy, and meats for families right here in our community.

But here’s the thing, friends: our deadline is June 30th. That’s right around the corner, and we need your help to move the needle.

Closing that gap is simpler than you might think:

🥕 20 people giving $20

🥬 40 people giving $10

🥛 80 people giving $5

Every single gift makes a difference. No amount is too small, because when we give together, ordinary becomes extraordinary. This is the heart of community — neighbors showing up for neighbors, making sure no family goes without fresh, nourishing food.

And if you can’t give right now, you can still help: share this post with someone who can, and pray with us that the Lord would meet this need and bless every hand that gives. 🙏

Will you be one of the hands that gets us across the finish line? 🙌
