We honored three remarkable Latina leaders who represent the legacy, leadership and future of our organization:

We also celebrated an extraordinary milestone for our Latina Giving Circle — more than $1 million invested in North Texas nonprofits since 2019, supporting Latina women, girls and families.

From the vision of our founders to the generations of women who continue to carry our mission forward, this is what the Hispanic 100 is about: Latina leaders coming together to serve, give back, create opportunities and elevate the Hispanic community we proudly serve.

Drop a stone in water and the ripples never stop. 🌊 That's 30 years of the Hispanic 100 in North Texas.

Every Latina executive who mentored a rising star. Every public servant whose policies still protect our communities. Every educator who put a first-generation student on a path to college. Every grant that changed a girl's future. H100's influence doesn't live in one boardroom or one ballot — it lives everywhere Latinas lead, and everywhere their leadership lifts others. Congratulations to The Concilio on its inaugural Texas Latino Legacy Awards, held at ISP Creative in Irving!

Florencia Velasco Fortner, president and CEO, reflected on The Concilio’s remarkable 45-year legacy and celebrated Latino leaders whose service and leadership have helped shape Texas.

We are especially proud to recognize H100 members Liz Cedillo and Aracely Muñoz among this year’s honorees. Linda Valdez Thompson and Dania Duncan Moreno served on the selection committee, and Cris Zertuche Wong is a co-chair of The Concilio’s annual gala this October.

Congratulations to all the honorees and everyone who made this inspiring celebration possible!

For more than two decades, philanthropy has been woven into the H100 legacy — and today, the H100 Latina Giving Circle at the Texas Women's Foundation carries it forward.

Fueled by proceeds from H100 fundraising events and the individual giving of H100 members, the Circle awards grants to organizations advancing the economic empowerment, security, and safety of Latina women and girls across the DFW area. Scholarships. Mentorship. Opportunity. Change. This is what collective giving looks like. This is legacy in action.

Today, ELLA honorees like Dr. Nancy Bernardino, Rebecca Acuña, Cristal Retana, Amanda Arizola, Anette Soto Landeros, Aracely Muñoz, and Raquel Amparo are leading in education, policy, business, and community across North Texas. The torch isn't being passed — it's being multiplied.

Every legacy has its architects. 🌟

For 30 years, the Hispanic 100's Latina Living Legends have transformed North Texas from every arena: in business, executives like Alice Rodriguez and Linda Valdez Thompson redefined corporate leadership. In civic life, trailblazers like Anita N. Martinez — the first Latina on the Dallas City Council — and Sheriff Lupe Valdez broke barriers that stayed broken.

In law and advocacy, the legendary Adelfa Botello Callejo fought for justice for generations. In media and the arts, voices like Gloria Campos, Mercedes Olivera, and Viola Delgado told our community's story.

One movement. Many arenas. A region changed forever.
