The Conservancy partners with the City of Dallas and its Park and Recreation Department to support implementation of the park’s master plan through major fundraising initiatives. Currently funding the renovation and restoration of the Stone Tables, the first picnic area built at White Rock Lake Park in 1931.

The White Rock Lake Conservancy photo contest is back! We love the photos you share with us and want to say thank you to those that tag !

Here’s how it works:
Each participant can submit up to 2 of their favorite photos of White Rock Lake Park on Instagram using the hashtag and/or .

There will be two winners:
1 WRLC team will narrow the submittals down to 2 finalists and our followers will vote! The photo with the most likes on Instagram will win a one year membership to WRLC and a free registration to Celebration White Rock 2027
2. “What East Dallas Means to me.” photo winner will be selected by and featured in the East Dallas magazine.

Requirements: high res image, no people in photo, vertical layout showing “What East Dallas means to me”.

The 2 final photos will be posted on the White Rock Lake Conservancy Instagram page. Whichever photo collectively gets the most likes between both Instagram and Facebook wins a membership to the Conservancy for one year ($50 value).

The contest will run from Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 11:59pm to Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 11:59pm CST.
