Cowboys Helping Cowboys Charity Events Cowboys Helping Cowboys (CHC) began as a charity golf tournament benefiting rodeo cowboys facing financial hardship in the event of extensive medical needs.

CHC Charity Events is a grassroots fundraising organization founded by fellow western sports athletes and the rodeo community to give a hand up to support our fellow cowboys and cowgirls facing financial hardship in the event of illness or injury. Rodeo athletes do not accrue sick or vacation days. They risk life and limb for the thrill and the hopes of that eight-second paycheck. Just like any ot

her professional athlete, if they sustain severe injuries, healing can be ongoing. The longer they remain out of the chute the scarcer their financial resources become. This can have a significant impact on them and their families. CHC is not a fancy charity with well-paid executives, but simply a grassroots effort from real rodeo athletes and community giving a hand up to support their fellow cowboy and competitor in need. Over the years we have been able to create a small groundswell allowing us to expand past our once-a-year golf tournament and raise funds throughout the year with a variety of different fundraising events. We are always looking to partner with other organizations for event sponsorships and annual long-term sponsorships. Our thoughts and prayers go out to our longtime supporter Kieth Pope, we were informed about the sad news that his wife Jennifer lost her battle with cancer and passed away this morning… condolences to the family and we thank the Lord that she is no longer in pain and is now in the hands of the Lord 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Summer's here!🤠 It's that time of year, rodeo family. Between Cowboy Christmas on the horizon and many athletes hitting the road for summer runs, there's no off-season for the risks rodeo athletes take, and there shouldn't be an off-season for showing up for them either.

With both of our signature events for the year behind us, planning for 2027 and supporting more athletes starts now. Individual donations matter more than ever to keep Cowboys Helping Cowboys ready when an athlete is hit with injury or illness. Sponsorships and partnerships carry us far, but it's the everyday generosity of folks like you that fills the gaps in between.

🐎 No major events for CHC right now mean individual donations matter MORE, not less. Our rodeo athletes don't get a break from risk this summer. Anyone in rodeo knows summer is when you press the gas pedal and hit the road hard. Let's not give them a break from support either.
