And even though the storms came yesterday and howled through the night making it difficult once again to rest our minds, we awake to a new day with the agenda of carrying on. Along this triumph I pause to reflect. It is here where I “tie my brother’s shoe”. Many of us walk in the same shoes no matter where we lay our head at night. Keep your brothers and sisters in your thoughts. One may need you to “tie their shoe”. Love you guys!

It is my honor, on behalf of Grounded Hero Initiative Veteran Organization, in conjunction with the ROTC of Pittsburg State University, to be able to to offer our first scholarship to Isabel Johnston for her commitment to serve in the ROTC program while attending as a freshmen.
