For 80 years, St. Philip’s has been committed to creating opportunities for children, families, and the South Dallas community. We’re honored to see that work highlighted in National Affairs' article, “Reviving America’s Inner Cities.”

The article explores how St. Philip’s is combining education, community programming, entrepreneurship, and strategic neighborhood investment to help create lasting economic opportunity while preserving and strengthening the community we serve. From creating spaces where small businesses can grow to ensuring neighborhood residents remain at the center of South Dallas’ future, this work reflects our deep commitment to community-driven transformation.

We are grateful to our students, families, staff, supporters, and partners who make this work possible every day. ❤💙

STEM Day 2026! 🚀🔧💡

Our scholars spent the day tinkering, exploring, and bringing STEM concepts to life. They gained hands on experience with drones and rovers, discovered how mechanical energy can power an arcade game, and even learned the ins and outs of marketing and selling their ideas.

A huge shoutout to Texas Instruments for inspiring our scholars to ask questions, think creatively, and learn about how science, technology, engineering, and math are all connected and apply to real life.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to give our scholars a hands-on look at where curiosity can take them! 🙌
