Breast cancer death rates have declined 44% since 1989, and that progress is directly tied to advances in early detection and treatment.
But that progress hasn't reached everyone equally. Women who lack access to regular screening are still being diagnosed later, when outcomes are harder and treatment is more complex.
That's the gap MPG is determined to close. Through partnerships with local hospitals and mobile mammography units, we've funded 2,800+ free screening and diagnostic mammograms for under- and uninsured patients across North Texas because the progress of the last 35 years should belong to everyone.
Early detection saves lives. Access makes it possible.

Since our founding, Mammogram Poster Girls has funded over 2,800 free screening and diagnostic mammograms for under- and uninsured patients across North Texas. This year, we're pushing toward 3,000 — and every single event, donation, and sponsorship moves that number forward.

Behind every number is a real person in our community. Someone who couldn't afford care. Someone who came to a Two-Fer Tuesday or a Man Up! event. Someone who got a result that changed everything.

Stats That Save 💗

Mammograms don't just screen — they find cancer before it spreads.

Community screening programs in Texas detected 886 breast cancers across 64,315 mammograms in a single year. That's nearly 14 cancers found per 1,000 screenings — life-changing diagnoses that happened because someone showed up for their mammogram.

Every screening is an opportunity. Every opportunity is a potential early detection. And early detection dramatically improves outcomes.

At MPG, we've funded over 2,800 free screening and diagnostic procedures for under- and uninsured patients across North Texas — because access should never be the reason someone misses that opportunity. 🩷

"I’m a two-time breast cancer survivor—and because ALL of my sisters are also breast cancer survivors I don’t take a single day for granted. I was blessed to have access to the care I needed, but along my journey, I’ve seen far too many women who didn’t have that same opportunity…not because they didn’t fight hard enough, but because they simply couldn’t afford it.
I could not allow that to continue. No one should lose their life over lack of access.
Mammogram Poster Girls was born from that. This is personal for me. It’s about making sure women are seen, supported, and given a real chance to live. Through our programs and funding, we’re standing in the gap—because everybody deserves access, everybody deserves dignity, and everybody deserves a fighting chance.
