We connect young people ages 16–24 who are transitioning out of foster care and their unhoused peers in North Texas with the support they need to reach self-sufficiency, through individualized support, and access to housing and community services.

Because of you, the 23 for 23 Campaign helped us build more steady support for our youth.

We launched this campaign in honor of TRAC’s 23rd anniversary and Foster Care Awareness Month, with the goal of welcoming 23 new monthly donors into TRAC Club.

Thank you to everyone who joined, gave, shared, or helped spread the word. Your support helps youth move toward housing, stability, and independence.

The campaign may be over, but the need is still here. Thank you for standing with TRAC and helping create a path forward for youth. You are all already part of the TRAC family. Joining TRAC Club gets you closer to our mission and have a greater impact on our youth.

We are proud to celebrate Tara Chisholm, TRAC Housing Program Manager and social worker, for receiving the Liberty Bell Award from the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association and Tarrant County Bar Association. 💙🧡

The Liberty Bell Award recognizes non-lawyers who promote a greater understanding of justice and civic responsibility within the community. Tara’s work reflects that commitment every day through advocacy, housing support, and steady encouragement for young adults navigating difficult transitions.

During her remarks, Tara shared:
“Justice goes beyond the courtroom. Sometimes justice looks like helping a young person obtain an ID so they can get a job.
Sometimes justice looks like helping someone sign their first lease.
Sometimes justice looks like advocating for housing when a young adult has been told no over and over again.
Sometimes justice looks like believing in someone until they can believe in themselves.”

We are grateful for Tara’s leadership, compassion, and continued dedication to helping young adults access pathways toward stability, independence, and wellbeing.

Congratulations, Tara, on this well-deserved recognition!

June is Pride Month, and at TRAC we recognize the importance of safe, affirming support systems for LGBTQ+ young adults facing homelessness.

Many young people experiencing housing instability have also faced rejection, isolation, or unsafe environments that make stability even harder to access. Every young adult deserves a place where they feel safe, respected, and supported as they work toward their goals.

TRAC provides individualized pathways to stable housing, independence, and wellbeing for youth across North Texas, including LGBTQ+ young adults navigating difficult transitions without consistent support systems.

Throughout June, we’ll continue sharing resources, education, and conversations around the intersection of LGBTQ+ experiences and youth homelessness.

Throughout May, we’ve focused on Foster Care Awareness and the pathways young adults take as they move toward stability and independence.

Across North Texas, that work continues every day - through housing, workforce, education, and consistent, trauma-informed care.

In 2025 alone, TRAC served more than 1,600 young adults, helping build stability that leads to long-term opportunity and independence.

Sustained support makes that progress possible. TRAC Club, our monthly giving community, is one way to stay connected to this work through consistent investment.

Stable housing is a starting point for everything. It is the critical foundation needed to ensure youth can pursue education and employment.

Through TRAC’s housing program, young adults access safe living environments while building the skills and income needed to maintain that stability.

In 2025:
• 164 young adults enrolled in housing support
• 80% maintained housing for at least six months

These outcomes reflect their progress toward independence, economic security, and long-term wellbeing.

Foster Care Awareness Month highlights an important question – What comes next after foster care?

For young adults aging out of foster care, long-term stability depends on more than immediate support. It requires consistent access to housing, income, education, and guidance over time.

TRAC works alongside young adults to build that foundation , supporting their progress toward independent living, employment, and long-term wellbeing.

Stability is not a single milestone. It is built step by step, with the right support in place.

Sunday is the last day to join our 23 for 23 Campaign.

This campaign has been about building support young people can count on as they move from survival to stability through our monthly giving community, TRAC Club.

If you have been following along this month, you know how important consistency is. This is your moment to help.

Your monthly gift helps create room for youth to focus on their goals instead of where they will sleep tonight. Your generosity helps young people in our community who need a safe place to stay, steady support, and someone in their corner.

With a donation of $25 per month, you can become part of a steady support system for youth who have too often had to figure things out alone.

We are counting down the final hours of this campaign. Become one of the 23 founding members of TRAC Club by using the link below.

Join us before the month ends by making a gift today: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/tracclubdonationform/
