Inspiring all girls to be Strong, Smart and Bold. Girls Inc. is the champion for all girls and young women, ages six to 18.

For over 40 years, we have been providing effective life skills and enrichment programs to empower girls daily to take charge of their lives. We provide learning and development opportunities designed around personal effectiveness, academics, and career planning so that girls are inspired to be strong, smart and bold and lead successful, independent and fulfilling lives.

Our North Texas Giving Day Staff Kick-Off started off with a roar… literally! 🦖

We kicked things off with a little "Girl-rassic" fun to get our team ready for the big day ahead. From digging into our goals to getting everyone energized for the campaign, our staff came together to learn, connect, and get ready to make an impact.

The countdown to North Texas Giving Day on September 17 is officially on! We can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together for the girls we serve. Early Giving starts August 27!

We are thrilled to share that we just wrapped up an incredible fiscal year, serving more than 4,800 girls at Girls Inc. Dallas! An achievement of this scale is only possible through strong, dedicated board leadership. We extend our deepest gratitude to our outgoing board members, Stephanie Zapata Moore, Maureen Kelly Cooper, and Joseph Portera, as they roll off the board after years of unwavering service and commitment.

Thank you for your immense impact! As we look ahead, we are excited to introduce our board officers leading us into this next chapter: Jamie Lavin Buzzard as Board Chair, Melinda Chausse as Chair Elect, Bhaskar Reddy as Treasurer, and Lacy Durham as Secretary. With this exceptional team at the helm, we are ready for the year ahead as we aim higher to empower 5,000+ girls!

This summer, our Eureka! participants put their talents to work through internships that helped them grow as leaders, professionals, and changemakers.

Thank you to our amazing internship partners for investing in the next generation of leaders: Avert, Compu-Med Vocational Careers, Corp Official, Dallas Zoo, Dallas Public Library, City of Grand Prairie - Municipal Government, Henderson Engineers, HKS Architects, Parker University, Rocio Cervantes, RC Family Lawyers PLLC, and UWorld.

This summer was packed with STEM adventures, creative projects, exciting field trips, new friendships, and plenty of confidence-building moments. Every day was another opportunity for girls to learn, lead, and discover what they're capable of.

The next generation of women in sports starts here. 🏐

Girls Inc. girls had an incredible opportunity to attend the PULSE of a Champion speed mentoring event, hosted by Dallas Pulse and WISE (Women in Sports & Events) DFW, fueled by Powerade.

They connected with inspiring women from across the professional sports industry, learning about careers in marketing, social media, community engagement, sales, and game-day operations. Through meaningful conversations, they discovered what it takes to lead with confidence, overcome challenges, and pursue a successful career in sports.

Thank you to the mentors from Dallas PULSE and WISE DFW for sharing your experiences and inspiring the next generation of leaders. Opportunities like these empower girls to dream bigger, aim higher, and see themselves shaping the future of the sports industry.
