Big moments. New experiences. Even stronger possibilities. 🌞

Our Rise & Shine event brought Project Accelerate participants, families, and supporters together to celebrate the girls’ Summer 2026 internship experiences at UWorld, City of Grand Prairie - Municipal Government, and Parker University. They shared what they learned, the skills they developed, and how their experiences are shaping their futures. We’re proud of everything they accomplished and can’t wait for you to hear their stories.

We’re raising a toast to two incredible team members! 🎉

Today, we’re celebrating Amy Navarro’s 4th and Theresa Guerra's 2nd anniversary with Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas!

As Program Manager, Amy helps bring our programs to life, supporting experiences that give girls opportunities to learn, explore, and grow. Her dedication to our programs and the girls we serve makes a meaningful difference in the work we do every day.

As Vice President of Finance, Theresa helps keep our organization financially strong and moving forward. Her expertise and attention to the details behind the scenes help create a strong foundation for the work we do in service of girls across Dallas.

Thank you, Amy and Theresa, for all you bring to Girls Inc. Dallas. We’re grateful to have you on our team and appreciate the time and energy you bring to our work every day.

Join us in wishing them both a happy work anniversary! 👏🎊

Una defensora de la cultura y la expresión. 🎨🌎

Marta Moreno Vega is an Afro-Puerto Rican educator, scholar, and cultural activist. She founded the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute and has dedicated her work to celebrating the history, art, and contributions of the African diaspora.

At Girls Inc. Dallas, we believe girls should have the space to explore who they are, learn about different cultures, and express themselves. Marta’s work highlights the importance of creating spaces where culture, history, and diverse perspectives can be celebrated.

We’re coming back from ASPIRE 2026 feeling inspired, energized, and ready to keep growing! ✨

Our Girls Inc. Dallas team joined Girls Inc. affiliates from across the country in Arlington, Virginia, for four days of learning, collaboration, and connection at ASPIRE: Resourced & Ready to Grow.

From sharing ideas and learning new approaches to connecting with fellow Girls Inc. professionals, the experience gave our team new resources and perspectives to bring back to Dallas.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside such a dedicated network, and we’re excited to put what we learned into action for the girls we serve! ❤️

When life gets stressful, knowing how to care for yourself can make all the difference.🌺

At Girls Inc. Dallas’ recent Self-Care Camp, participants explored what stress looks and feels like and learned healthy ways to manage it. Through painting, yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, and conversations about asking for help, they discovered different ways to care for their minds and bodies.
