Normally her scan results would be posted within a day or two. Then one day, it was a week and survivor Nora Taylor hadn't heard anything. That's when her anxiety was really high.

How can people living with lung cancer handle all the emotions and anxiety -- the scanxiety -- that comes with this diagnosis? Listen as Nora shares her story and gives her ideas for ways to work through it on LUNGevity's latest episode of Lung Cancer Voices of Hope. https://brnw.ch/21x5qix

A Christmas in July 5K? Sounds like the perfect event for Team LUNGevity athlete, Stephanie Burnham!

When Stephanie’s good friends at Northeast Delta Dental learned about her upcoming TCS New York City Marathon in honor of her grandmother, they wanted to help her meet her fundraising goal.

“The Christmas in July 5k was organized and hosted by my friends at Northeast Delta Dental. This was my most successful event so far with a great turnout of local runners and friends. My mom and I also had a craft table at the race which made more than $300. The race registrations, plus the craft table, brought in a little over $2,700,” Stephanie shared.

Thank you to Stephanie for sharing her fun and unique fundraiser! If you are interested in learning more about fundraising and why it matters, join our interactive webinar on September 16, Ready, Set, Fundraise: How to Make an Impact. LUNGevity.org/events

"Only someone who has experienced what you are can really identify with how you feel, what you are going through and what kind of help you need. Leaning on a community of been there, done that is invaluable to an overall treatment plan.” -Bill Morris

Happy National Dog Day! 🐶

Today we celebrate all of the dogs who support and love us through the happy times and the difficult days. The dogs who know when you need a snuggle and are always there when you need them most. The dogs who run with us during training and walk along side us when we raise awareness for lung cancer.
