Bowe's Buddies Bowe's Buddies is a very unique nonprofit organization that fosters All animals in need from local animal shelters. She gave birth to 7 kittens in July of 2020.

A 501c3 organization that could use your help. Bowe's mom came into a local animal shelter very young, very sick, and very pregnant. Unfortunately, a foster home was not available until all but, Bowe and his sister Peach were left. Bowe was born with a condition called Radial Hypoplasia or
underdevelopment or lack of development of the radius bone, so he needed to find a home with an experienced owner. Sweet little Peach was just a bundle of happy healthy joy and found her forever home too.

Because of your generosity, compassion, and belief in our mission, Bowe’s Buddies raised $4,427 during our very first fundraiser for North Texas Gives to Animals.

Every dollar raised represents hope, second chances, and a brighter future for animals who need us most.

This is only the beginning.

They are ready to rumble! We have cats and kittens galore. We have adults, we have pairs, we have young and we have kittens. 🐾
Summer is in full swing, is your house ready for some new furry 🧡.
None of these littles would have been possible without our foster group Bowe's Buddies. Thank them today for your new friend.
The shelter will open promptly at 10am and all adoptions are first come first serve. Bring your entire family, bring your landlord's approval and your adoption fee.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

Because of your generosity, compassion, and belief in our mission, Bowe's Buddies raised $4,427 during our very first fundraiser for North Texas Gives to Animals.

We could not be more grateful for what we accomplished together. Every dollar raised represents hope, second chances, and a brighter future for animals who need us most. As a brand-new organization, this fundraiser was about so much more than dollars raised. It was about building a community of people who believe that vulnerable animals deserve love, safety, and the opportunity to thrive.

Thanks to you, we now know that community exists. Whether you donated, shared our campaign, encouraged a friend to give, or simply cheered us on, you helped make this milestone possible. Bowe's Buddies was founded to support the lifesaving foster program at Allen Animal Shelter and provide animals with the care, resources, and opportunities they need while they wait for their forever families. Your support helps make that mission possible.

Dropping off two kittens for surgery and adoption at The City of Allen Animal Shelter was a great experience today (a little sad like a momma cat) Then picking up three new fosters who had been in a crate together at the shelter was a new chapter, where at first they are reluctant to come out of crate, and now they've got the ZOOMIES!!

🐾 Why Bowe's Buddies Exists 🐾

People often ask how Bowe's Buddies got started.

For our founder, Beth Felker, it began with a simple belief: do a little more.

When Beth moved from Plano to Lucas, she knew she would continue volunteering with the shelter she loved. But she also wanted to get involved with her new local shelter, City of Allen Animal Shelter.

At the time, the shelter no longer had a foster program.

Beth saw vulnerable puppies, kittens, senior pets, and animals needing extra care with fewer opportunities to get the help they deserved.

She knew something had to change.

Years earlier, a band director gave her a piece of advice that she still carries with her today:

🧡 "You get out of life what you put into it."🧡

That lesson inspired Beth to always do a little more for her community, her shelter, and the animals who depend on people to help them.

That belief became Bowe's Buddies.

Today, we exist for the most vulnerable dogs and cats entering the City of Allen Animal Shelter. The bottle babies. The medical cases. The frightened animals who need a safe place to land. The pets waiting for someone to believe in them.

Every foster home, every volunteer, every donation, and every supporter helps create another second chance.

Because when people choose to do a little more, incredible things happen.
