We are proud to recognize Valerine Conerly as our March Member Spotlight. Valerine is a Client Relations Consultant with AF Group, where she manages the customer experience and relationships for large multi-line accounts. Serving as a central point of contact between policyholders, agents, and the workers’ compensation division, she helps ensure continuity of care, clear communication, and exceptional service for some of the organization’s largest clients. With 19 years in the insurance industry, Valerine brings deep expertise in workers’ compensation, including previous roles as a Claims Adjuster, Claim Supervisor, and WC Analyst.
A six-year member of NAAIA DFW, Valerine joined shortly after relocating to the DFW area from Charlotte, seeking to grow her professional network while also giving back to emerging insurance professionals. She holds a BA in Mass Communications from Louisiana State University and an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus, along with CAWC and DEI certifications. Outside of work, Valerine is a proud mom of two sons, an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and One Community Church, and a lifelong learner who enjoys reading, cooking, hosting friends and family, and leading her book club. She is also involved with the Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation and DFW RIMS, continuing her commitment to service and professional engagement across the industry.
