Community Tax Centers

Community Tax Centers Dallas Community Tax Centers offer free tax prep to low to moderate income individuals and families.

The Dallas Community Tax Centers is a Foundation Communities program that returns millions of dollars to the local economy by helping low- to moderate-income families take better control of their finances. During the tax season, IRS-certified volunteers offer free tax help to individuals and families who earn less than $60,000 a year. Additionally, CTC is helping develop a scalable model for finan

cial education and coaching that can connect low-income individuals and families with helpful benefits and community resources — and teach them the management skills to keep more of the money they earn.

The Dallas Community Tax Centers are excited to announce that our Summer Tax Season will officially run from June 1 – October 15! 🎉

Need help filing your taxes, amending a return, renewing an ITIN, or responding to an IRS letter? We’re here to help eligible families and individuals making less than $69,000 with FREE tax preparation services.

Last Friday, we celebrated an incredible tax season at our Volunteer Appreciation Event with more than 60+ amazing VITA volunteers at Dave & Buster’s! 🎉🎮

We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to every volunteer who dedicated their time, energy, and heart to serving the community through the Dallas Community Tax Centers this season. Because of you, thousands of families were able to receive free, trusted tax preparation services. Your impact truly made a difference, and this mission would not be possible without you. ❤️

From intake volunteers, translators, quality reviewers, tax preparers, and everyone behind the scenes THANK YOU for helping us serve the community, one tax return at a time.

We would also like to congratulate the volunteers who received the Harold Menzel Excellence Award for their outstanding contributions, dedication, and service to our tax centers throughout this past tax season. 🏆👏
