Desire to Empower Desire to Empower was founded January 2015 by Eydie Robinson who had a strong desire to fulfill her life purpose.

Desire to Empower is a 501c3, non-profit organization located in Dallas, TX who is dedicated to empowering, inspiring and motivating girls and young women to act on their goals and become successful in today's society. Through a long journey of self-examination, prayer and coaching it was revealed that her purpose was to EMPOWER, INSPIRE, AND MOTIVATE; specifically young girls and women. Desire to

Empower's motivation is to increase self-confidence in women and show them that they can achieve any goal they've set for themselves despite their current life situations, upbringing or economic backgrounds. We believe that every woman and girl has the opportunity to achieve her goals.

The Alliance for a Brighter Community (ABC) Foundation’s annual scholarships are now open! We have a variety of scholarships opportunities ranging from community service to athletics for high school seniors and college students.

We lift up Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Month. Both of these issues impact women and men.

According to the CDC, Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among American women. Mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early, when it is easier to treat and before it is big enough to feel or cause symptoms.

Domestic violence is a widespread issue, impacting families at all income levels, every ethnic group, and age. If this is something you are facing, you are not alone. If you are concerned about a loved one, co-worker, colleague, remember that finding help for the individuals at risk is an act of courage and compassion that will reduce the potential for violence while increasing safety for all. Everyone has a right to safety and security in their own home.
