Worldwide Education Foundation - WEF The Worldwide Education Foundation sole purpose is to help improve the quality and scope of education for underprivileged children.

Worldwide Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3). Federal Tax ID 81-2135633.
100% of all dollars raised through your contributions go towards implementation, operation, and maintenance of WEF’s projects and programs. All administrative expenses are paid by the Founders, Connie and Kamal Daya Gift Fund of The Dallas Foundation, and by our many generous, engaged volunteers. WEF is only authorized to wo

rk with institutions that are certified and qualified non for profit. WEF doesn’t fund individuals. Each grant must have a written agreement which states objectives, amount, beneficiaries, the institution responsibilities, time frame and measurable outcomes. Monitoring and reporting must be provided on regular basis by the partner institution team to continue to receive grant funding.

Transforming Government School
Learning Centers: Expanding Opportunities.

Through our Government School Learning Centers in Upper Chitral, children are gaining access to quality Early Childhood Development (ECD) programs and Technology-Assisted English Language Labs designed to strengthen foundational learning and language skills.

Launched in 2024, this initiative is creating engaging, child-friendly learning environments where young learners can explore, discover, and grow with confidence.

Transforming Government Schools into Modern Learning Spaces

In 2025, Worldwide Education Foundation (WEF), USA, launched an initiative to strengthen learning environments in Government Model Schools across Upper Chitral by transforming existing classrooms into modern, child-friendly spaces supported with technology and innovative learning resources.

Through this initiative:
10 Centers have been established
Supporting over 2,000 students aged 6–11
25 Teachers

By integrating technology-assisted learning into government primary schools where our existing learning centers are established, we are helping children in remote communities gain access to engaging, interactive, and quality education opportunities.

Because every child — no matter where they live — deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Bringing Early Childhood Education to Remote Communities:

In the remote valleys of Upper and Lower Chitral, thousands of young children still lack access to quality early childhood education.

Home to nearly 500,000 people — including more than 52,000 children aged 3–5 years — the region faces major challenges in providing safe and structured early learning opportunities. Rugged mountains, scattered communities, and limited infrastructure continue to limit access for many rural families.

Many villages still have no Early Childhood Learning Centers, and even where centers exist, many lack trained teachers, Montessori learning materials, technology, and child-friendly learning spaces.

In May 2026, Worldwide Education Foundation (WEF), USA through it's implementing partner Foundation To Empower Students(FES), Pakistan, has established 100 Early Childhood Learning Centers across Upper and Lower Chitral to help bridge this gap and bring quality early learning opportunities closer to underserved communities.

Through Bright Beginnings ECLCs, children are gaining access to safe, joyful, and nurturing learning environments where they can grow, explore, and thrive.

Because every child — no matter how remote their village — deserves equal access to quality education and a brighter future.

Learning Life Skills Through Play & Practice

At our Bright Beginnings ECLCs, even simple activities help children develop essential life skills through hands-on learning experiences.

Today, our young learner participated in a classic Montessori Practical Life activity: Sponge Squeezing. Using two bowls and a sponge, the child carefully transferred water from one bowl to another — building concentration, independence, and coordination through purposeful play.

This activity helps strengthen:
🖐️ Fine motor skills
🎯 Hand-eye coordination
🧠 Concentration and focus
🌱 Independence and confidence

Through meaningful classroom experiences like these, children learn real-world skills while developing the foundations for lifelong learning.
