Worth Media Community. AWM-DFW was formed over three decades ago to offer support, education and growth opportunities for women and professionals in an ever-changing industry. Our monthly programs and signature events are designed to support our initiatives. The dedication of the board of directors and our members make it possible to fulfill our mission to educate and be a resource to students, women and members of our industry.

Applications are now open for AWM-DFW scholarships, including:
• Irene Runnels-Paula McStay Scholarship – $5,000 (2 recipients)
• Kathy Saunders Scholarship – $5,000

That's $15,000 in scholarship funding available to support students and emerging professionals pursuing careers in media.

A new name is coming to one of Hollywood’s biggest media mergers.

Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery have officially come together under a new parent name: Skydance.

While both Paramount and Warner Bros. will retain their individual brand identities, the new corporate name leaves more than a century of combined brand equity out of the equation.

Think Shark Tank for Women in Media 💡🏆

Our Third Place is hosting The Cultural Brief Battle, an interactive game night where guests will be split into teams, assigned a fictional brand, and challenged to create a marketing campaign that brings it to life through culture, influence, and creative thinking.
Then, teams will pitch their ideas to a panel of guest judges!
