Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 12th! Join the Dallas Brass Band at Garland High School for an incredible evening of music.

We are bringing a massive program to the stage, featuring everything from the intricate power of Philip Sparke’s Harmony Music to the virtuosic magic of Derek Bourgeois’ transcription of Paul Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. With a stellar lineup of star soloists, this is bound to be an unforgettable night.

The 2026 Dallas Youth Brass Band Summer Institute is in the books! We had an amazing time working with so many talented young players all week in our DYBB High School band, middle school band, percussion ensemble, and our massed band. It was a terrific week of music making.

Huge thank you to James McNair Bell Trumpets Bell Music for coming in to give a masterclass on how to play test an instrument to the young musicians. Truly insightful information for anyone in attendance.

Keep an eye out for our next youth brass band camp, coming this fall!

The band had an amazing time performing Star Wars once again last night! This time at ED Walker Middle School in Dallas ISD! The students absolutely loved the hearing Star Wars live from the band and interacting with the players in the time we were there! It has been a great couple weeks performing all over the DFW metroplex and inspiring the next generation of young musicians. ♥️
